The first day of any talk show is always a bit stiff, so the premiere edition of The Talk — with a panel featuring Julie Chen, Sara Gilbert, Sharon Osbourne, Leah Remini, and Holly Robinson Peete — must be given a pass. 'The View' goes after O'Reilly yet again: 'He loves to pull your chain'; 'It wasn't a publicity stunt'
The View returned again to last Thursday’s argument with Bill O’Reilly that resulted in walk-offs by Whoopi Goldberg and Joy Behar. Joaquin Phoenix returned to Late Show With David Letterman on Wednesday night for the first time since his February 2009 appearance. Last night, Letterman described Phoenix as “the dope in the beard” and “a side of beef in a suit.”
