Loved the show. Im from Odessa and had a small extra part in the movie that was filmed here. Peter Berg is a great guy. WIsh he would do the 2nd movie here also.
Hey there, You have performed an incredible job. I’ll definitely digg it and for my part recommend to my friends. I am sure they will be benefited from this website.
The first go around I had with this show, I loved it. On second watch, I realized the source of my love — the football storylines – coach Taylor’s relationship with his team, his relationship with Tami, and the bond between the players. I agree about Saracen being the best young actor/character. You’d really have to try to not get sucked in and feel for the guy. As far as the romances (other than Eric/Tami), I thought the writing was off, and unlike what you would expect from FNL storylines. While the show was airing, I’m sure I overlooked it because of the football related stuff which was always a treat. The actress who played Julie simply annoyed me and the character was written in a way that only added to my annoyance. While everyone went gaga over Riggins, I felt he was often close to being one-note. His glazed over, drunken stet of mind was supposed to be endearing or attractive, and it hit the mark with fangirls, but it didn’t do him favors as a character in development. Yes, deep down he has a heart of gold, I just wish they had done more. Minka was not the best, but not awful. I think Lyla was brought down when they had her become Tim’s babysitter of sorts. I think her peak was the born-again storyline, they just failed to give her a more conflicted point of view. Tyra never succeeded in garnering sympathy with me, and that’s saying a lot, seeing as how I felt it on some degree from all others. Eric, Tami, & Matt were outstanding and made the show worthy of watching for me personally. I also think Scott Porter as Jason Street had loads of potential. They just dragged him through boring storylines after his accident, as if they weren’t inspired by the character. While I think it was an amazing show in some aspects, it failed in others. In all honsety, I used to be shocked that it didn’t get more attention & praise, but if I really think about it now that I’ve watched the seasons over, I’m not as surprised.
I am extremely inspired together with your writing skills as smartly as with the structure for your blog. Is that this a paid subject or did you modify it your self? Anyway stay up the excellent quality writing, it’s uncommon to peer a nice blog like this one nowadays..
