I tried to watch the whole thing, I really did. Franklin and Bash is just sophmoric. I still can’t believe that this stuff gets scheduled, but Terriers, The Defenders and Detroit 1-8-7 doesn’t. (Yes, I know, different networks, I’m talking big picture).
The cancelation of Terriers was the greatest television tragedy of recent memory. Terriers was spectacular TV storytelling. Franklin & Bash is the opposite.
Franklin & Bash was stunningly bad. Based on the ad campaign, I expected something dumb. I hoped for dumb and entertaining. That hope was quickly dashed. Horrific.

Why in the world did F&B need an Indian story line?? Must every show have one? I like the character in “Rules of Engagement” but this one is totally not funny or clever. It is a waste of time and should be eliminated. It serves no purpose. Malcom McDowell is terrific…a long way from 1971 and his psychopath role in “Clockwork Orange”. He sure has aged properly. That was one crazy movie. I like “Certain Age” very much.
What a stupid show! I’m in the “certain age” and the show’s nothing but cliches and stereotypes and a real snoozer.
Franklin & Crap. Please watch it. It is so bad as a 70′s action mexican drug cartel movie. Becomes entertaining for all the wrong reasons. Haven’t seen this much bad acting and lack of pacing in years. A gem. Won’t last more than a one season (if so). Watch it while it last.
