The shades-of-gray complexities of “Damages” and Micheal Clayton make shows like this seem very archaic to me.

I don’t think it is the most horrible show out there, but I did bail on it after a few episodes. It has a good cast, and good idea, but the writing is pretty horrendous and so very preachy.
We are watching it. We love it. We want it to be renewed!

I agree, this isn’t one of Kelley’s best. The sets look totally cheap and the gang storyline seems a little far fetched. I think Kathy Bates is the only reason to watch this show.

This show is a ratings hit because it is fun to watch. I am a Grade-A certified couch potato and – while I appreciate innovation and quality – I can also admit that sometimes I just want to have fun. The moment I watched the first part of the pilot and saw that Harry got hit by a car and then the guy who tried to kill himself landed on top of her and she was fine, I knew what to expect. Not every show has to be ‘smart’ and ‘realistic’. Sometimes, it’s o.k. to sit down and watch a few great actors do their thing. I love it.
So YOU are the reason there is so much crap on tv.!
I love Harry’s Law. Its brilliantly written, Kathy Bates is awesome. Boston Legal cant compare to this wonderful new David E. Kelly’s creation.
As long as it continues to offer me more entertainment than irritation I’ll stick with it. I’ve never been a fan of David Kelly’s shows (I’m lookin’ at you Allie McBeal and Boston Legal!) but I watched Harry’s Law strictly because Kathy Bates was in it. Between her character and some of the others such as Paul McCrane as the DA and Chistopher McDonald as Tommy Jefferson, I’ll keep tuning it.
One of the worst shows on TV….I’m shocked that anyone watches it but I guess there will always be crap on TV that somebody watches. Great shows like Detroit 1-8-7 and Friday Night Lights can’t make it and crap like this will be renewed for another painful season.

Gee, it’s one of my and my husbands favorite new shows. The characters are great, the storylines are interesting with nice twists and turns. Tommy Jefferson is hysterical but also seems smart and sweet, just a wee bit over the top. That’s how the character is supposed to be. And love, love, love Kathy Bates. They need to bring more humor into it like the first episode. Maybe not quite so heavy every week.
This is one of the best show’s that has come out in a long time.
Please keep it on. Sick and tired of all the trash that is on now days.
Okay, so it’s not Boston Legal but it does have its moments and it’s a whole lot better than most of the primetime dreck the networks are offerring. I’m hoping NBC renews it.
This show is wonderful. Kathy Bates is great and you cannot beat Christopher McDonald. It figures, since I really like this show, it will get cancelled, just like many other favorites. But I will enjoy Harry’s Law until it ends and if it gets picked up, I will tune in next fall.
