I’m not a fan of the show, but I tuned in to see Paul Rudd, and it was a very disappointing episode. There wasn’t enough of him, and it wasn’t that funny. I agree with the little bits Ken pointed out: I too liked Jay Pharoah’s principal; thought he brightened up that otherwise painful sketch. I did like Stefon, and Jason Sudekis’ bit. One bit Ken didn’t mention that I thought was good was the film of Meryl Streep ice skating. That was funny… and probably true.
“Meryl Streep On Ice” was the best bit of the night… instant classic!
Oh man, the sketch that really cracked me up was the Meryl Streep On Ice fake ad. I know it was dumb, but I thought it was hilarious.
I hope there are no regrets about swapping spit in the Vogelcheck bit.
I wonder if anything is done to prevent health issues in the future. I love Paul McCartney even though this wasn’t his best performance.I was thinking it may have been my tv sound system. I do want to see more Stefon.
Paul didn’t sing “Wonderful Christmas Time”…Boooo! Still love ya Paul.
why no miley cyrus show this time? they could have played off her bong video. Wasted opportunity!
I like Paul Rudd but I think McCartney would have been a better host.
This week was unfunny but the one with Ann Hathaway had me rolling. They need to use Bobby Monahan more cause he is so spot on. Loved his Guy Fieri bit.
I love Bill Hader [glad Andy Samberg was only on a little bit] and I LOVE Paul McCartney. Got to see him in 1989 with Linda on the MY BRAVE FACE Tour and then again in 2003[?] for DRIVING RAIN Tour after Linda passed away & he had just married Heather. Agree that “Jet” was weak on SNL…but he was straining on all the songs. I liked Band on the Run & Get Back [pissed that he was cut off] but I do agree that he is getting older & most likely can’t sing the Beatles or Wings songs without damaging what’s left of his beautiful voice. [Very moved when he did Day in the Life & Give Peace a Chance. Sadly suitable...can't believe it's been 30 years!]
Could someone please explain to me how/why the “What’s up with that?” skit ever makes it on air. Thank god for DVRs.
Is there any place that shows full episodes? I went to NBC and i never saw the Jason last scene or Paul McCartney do a Lennon mash up!
Wonderful issues altogether, you just won a new reader. What may you recommend about your publish that you just made some days ago? Any positive?
