I couldn’t stand O’Reilly’s comment, but I was probably more appalled by Behar and Goldberg’s reaction. This is exactly the problem in both politics and religion. Opposite opinions demonize each other and make no room for dialogue or compromise. Shame on them for provoking him and exacerbating the problem altogether.
And christians molest children blow up clinics and shoot people in the name of God
Mari, you assume that there is a point to dialog and that compromise is a fair thing in these situations. There is often not, and any compromise is not. when one party is not dealing in good faith (often the conservatves), then it is a pointless exercise in idealism. (And I’m an idependant, with views on both sides of the bizarre current political divide).
“Muslim-Extremist” is a bogus term. Where are these Muslims that support America and oppose terrorist groups and rogue nations such as Iran? Where is the moderate Muslim nation? Saudi Arabia, Turkey? The “Religion of Peace” stone their women over there.
We are being brainwashed by people who think that if they keep telling us that Islam is a peaceful religion enough, we will start to believe it…don’t fall for it. These dopes that fall for it obviously havent studied world history. The Christian Crusades were formed to beat back the Moslems…even then they were trying to shove their distorted views on the world.
Peggy, please learn to spell. People like you are the reason that this country is lagging so far behind. I think you need to “think more” or go back to school, you’re not the sharpest pencil as not only evident by your grammar, but also your beliefs. Iran is a “rogue nation” because the US says it is. The US has no right to tell another country what to do. Who the hell are we. What right do we have?? The US doesn’t involve/allow religion in matters. But that is our country. In other countries they have THEIR OWN LAWS. We may not agree with them, but they are allowed to enforce them.
Islam as a religion of peace? Read Surah 5:51
Surah 5:51[O you who believe! Do not take Jews and Christians as your patrons. They are patrons of their own people. He among you who will turn to them for patronage is one of them. Verily Allah guides not a people unjust.] (Al-Ma’dah 5: 51)
It is obvious that Jews patronize the Jews and Christians patronize the Christians, so why not Muslims patronize Muslims and support their own people. This verse is not telling Muslims to be against Jews or Christians, but it is telling Muslims that they should take care of their own people and they must support each other. look at this surah [Allah forbids you not with regard to those who fight you not for your faith, nor drive you out of your homes, from dealing kindly and justly with them. For Allah loves those who are just. Allah only forbids you with regard to those who fight you for your faith, and drive you out of your homes and support others in driving you out, from turning to them for protection (or taking them as wali). Those who seek their protection they are indeed wrong- doers.] ( Surah Al-Mumtahinah 60: 8-9)
a Muslim man is also allowed to marry a Jewish or Christian woman. It is obvious that one marries someone for love and friendship. If friendship between Muslims and Jews or Christians was forbidden, then why would Islam allow a Muslim man to marry a Jew or Christian woman?
Yeah, bub. And Christianity isn’t one of the most (I’d argue the most) horrifically violent religions in history. Considering Christianity is leading the very massive drive to destroy the planet and our entire species, you might want to rethink that position.
Freedom of speech doesn’t exist if you don’t agree with the show’s hosts. The unmitigated gaul of O’reilly to tell the truth cannot be tolerated by the liberal left who live in deceit and lies.

If you saw the whole show, Bill did correct his wording to not include all Muslims. Of course, most clips don’t show that part.
When the “girls” on the View bash Catholics,do they distinguish that it’s not all Catholics or do they simply randomly insult us with no repercussions?

NOt to change the subject but it does have to deal with 9-11. With all of the modern technology that this country has…we can put a man on the moon and take pictures, we can send up satellites that enableus to use TVs, cell phone, survellience in others parts of the world…but this country’s most SECURE building in the world has NO VIDEO EQUIPMENT that filmed the events at the PENTAGON on 9-11. If the Pentagon was that unsecure…WOW is all I have to say. A plane…right. Maybe these people were Muslims but the entire story is yet to be told. In 60 years we will find out the truth, just as we are finding out the truth about how the US infected so many people in another country (Quatamla i think) with STD’s and now we are apologizing, 70 years later.
