Today’s artists; with the few exceptions have NO CLUE about what rock/pop music is all about. It is all about THE MUSIC; not the image, or the video. This man toiled in a studio for a year to capture his vision on tape. Long before MTV he was making records that mattered. His albums are about telling a story; the order the chapters go in mattered. I see it as a huge pile of nuts and bolts of different sizes and shapes, and had to match nut to bolt, and then put all those bolts together to make the structure that he envisioned. I love that album, and am sure that I actually wore the grooves out on that vinyl.

You actually make it seem so easy with your presentation but I find this matter to be really something that I think I would never understand. It seems too complex and extremely broad for me. I am looking forward for your next post, I will try to get the hang of it!
