I also watched both. The premiere of Hellcats was about what I expected. I didn’t love it. But, I tuned in because I love competitive cheerleading and that portrayal is at least pretty good for tv/movie standards so I will probably keep watching. I just watched the second ep. today and I thought it was a vast improvement from the pilot. I just watched the premiere of Terriers after reading an article on TWoP about why V Mars fans should watch the show. I really enjoyed it. I will be watching both. Although Hellcats will have to be DVR’d or watched online because that time slot goes to Criminal Minds.

I’m sticking with Hellcats. At least it’s an actual drama, not a reality show. I’ve found that I’m not watching Glee this fall, too many divas, male and female.

Terriers. Definitely. I was surprised at how much I liked it; it’s on my short list.

  • OMG. Michael Raymond-James

I’m a married woman, a mother of two lovely little girls and a lover of great writing, directing, editing, cinematography , etc. I love clever and witty repartee.I think Donal Logue is very charasmatic and Terriers is wonderful; everything I thought Justified would be. It could be my new “The Shield”. But Michael Raymond-James. He is breathtaking.
Thank you. I feel much better.

  • Where is this week’s review of Terrier’s?

Ok, let me ask again. Where is this week’s review of Terriers? C’mon, EW, please don’t be stupid.

I love terriers. The latest episode was great! Hellcats looks very lame. Please people watch terriers! I really hope they keep it on :)

Hellcats is sexist in my opinion. I’m not talking about the girls outfits or anything like that, either. In one of the episodes, a cheerleader’s nude pictures are posted to the internet by a football player, and in retaliation, the cheerleader decides she’s going to out him for being gay. The football and cheer coaches tell her that it’s not the same thing, and that she could not only ruin his career, but that she (the cheer coach) once knew a homosexual who was outed before he was ready, and that it resulted in him killing himself. So, they come up with another way for her to get even. Now, while they might have been trying to tell the people to respect homosexuals, they showed complete lack of respect for women. There are multiple cases reported of girls killing themselves b/c nude pics of them were posted on the internet. This IS just as serious! Not only can it ruin a female’s career, but MANY girls kill themselves over this stuff! I found it EXTREMELY OFFENSIVE to say the two aren’t equally as serious. If the CW wants to try and promote tolerance, this was the WORST possible way to do it.

I’ll admit I watched Hellcats for a little bit, and was mildly entertained (enough to watch it every week), but I’m no longer interested, because it just makes me sick to see that they put that little value on women.
I hope this show gets canceled!
