Why 'Mad Men' is having its best season yet, plus: the tortured souls of Betty and Sally

I don’t think there’s ever been a more obvious Mad Men episode than the one that aired last night, “The Chrysanthemum and the Sword,” which Read the full post.

anyone notice the bright red leotards Sally was wearing? Do you think that highlights the red-hot trouble she will be getting into?

Overheard an argument in a mioble phone shop, when a customer didn’t have any ID, insisting of course Shazza was her name, why else would she have it tattooed on her ar**?

Last couple of episodes are slowly saving an otherwise horrible season. Sooo boring!

Love the caperish…dare I say “Man from Uncle” elements of the ad agency wars?

And Christopher Stanley is doing quietly fantastic work as Henry Francis, someone who actually has helped Sally.

Henry’s turned out to be a really good husband and father.

Its a sad, sad day when a TV critic likes the most hackneyed, most cliched character to come along in ages. I’m sorry but Blankenship would be right at home on a show like The Nanny, but she outta be wayyyyyyyyy beneath Mad Men. She has got to go and like right away. Just a very bad plot device the cheesy likes of which has never before been on televisions very best show. She may be comedy, but she offers no relief.

Miss Blankenship and Dr. Edna are both great additions to the line-up. The show just keeps getting better, more interesting, more complex and more real.

Best line so far this season…from Peggy when her new ‘friend’ from the building asked her to an event and then she went to kiss Peggy…
    Peggy: I have a boyfriend
Friend: He doesn’t own your vagina
Peggy: No but he’s renting it

Hopefully addressing Sally’s behavior may open roads for Betty to keep her relationship with her new hubby going, as I don’t think he’s going to satisfy her himself, not after Don. Or perhaps Sally actually observed Betty (who thought she was in private) and that’s where she learned it?

Liking the season so far, but really wish they would change the music to the “Joan” commercial as it grates and doesn’t feel period.

I am on FB for the NoH8 campaign, and I asmlot went to the same photoshoot by adam. to get your picture taken you have to pay $40.Part of the conditions is that you have to wear a plain white V neck shirt. Out of all of the photos my adam for the NoH8 picture set, this one of Cher does not make sense, part of the condition to get your pictures taken is to wear a plain white, or minimal white clothing. Compared to all the other peoples she has way way to much elaborate clothing.Truth is anybody with photoshop could put in Adam’s Name and have their own photoshoot. If it was actually real and news the Cherworld webmaster would have posted it up because it would be legit news. It’s easy to find out if this is true. Adam can be contacted through facebook or even his own website. We should just ask.VA:F [1.9.15_1155]please wait…VA:F [1.9.15_1155](from 0 votes)
