AMAZING! I have watched the espisode 4 times since Friday. Steve Harris and Coach talking about Vince being a black QB and the coach being white – is a conversation I hear my hubby have with men in our small little town of Alabama/Auburn/Georgia fans DAILY! I love the realness of this show. The writing is so fresh and believeable!
I prayed that Luke and his parents would get to Becky before she had the abortion. Every single scene in this show was acted to perfection – Vince with his mother, the Coach with Julie’s new friend and Tami with Becky. I loved it.
what exactly do you mean by ‘get to her’? just wondering, because people seem to forget that it ultimately is the women’s decision and whether or not we all agree with it, it isn’t right to ‘get’ to someone and force something on them. was it right that becky basically forced luke to accept the abortion? no, it wasn’t, but neither is your thinking.

You DO realize that the decision was as much Luke’s as it was Becky’s, do you not? You do realize that when Becky went ahead and “took care of it”, without acknowledgment of Luke’s views on the matter, that she was imposing her beliefs on him–especially those beliefs that pertain to what his family believes is murder? Or do you wish to trample on his family’s moral convictions, which is none of your business?
And besides, she’s underaged. She’s not a woman.

I did read it. So if what she did was so wrong in your eyes, then why the whole brouhaha over Luke and his parents not getting to her beforehand? Could this not be all that KSH implied?
Where is this week’s recap of FNL???? This week was one of the most intense hours of TV and I was looking forward to the EW recap.

Yes, where is this weeks recap? I have purposely avoided this site until today because I missed the show on Friday and it didn’t show up “On Demand” until last night! Came here eager to see what everyone had written, and there’s nothing? WTH!
