that medusa minotaur comment is the best thing ive heard in a while
i’m a npr-listening, nytimes-reading, jon stewart-watching west coast liberal and i was really impressed with megan kelly. whoa.
Megyn Kelly is a shrill ideologue just like O’Reilly. They’re debating…Nicolette Sheridan??? Seriously?
“There are two crux of the matter.” Sure there are/is Bill, sure there are/is. In the bizarro world of Fox news, the hot blond meant to be vapid eye candy is actually the intelligent voice of reason.
I can’t stand either one of these talking/screaming heads. Both are hypocritical morons who pander to the lowest denominator of TV viewers. Occasionally they make a good point, but it comes at the expense of decorum. Ok…back to Rush!
Oh me oh my, evil fox news. cnn and msnbc are every bit as biased as fox, at least fox makes an effort to express differing opinions. go back to your Twilight books you bunch of narrow minded twits.
It’s funny how Bill O’Reilly can’t win an argument anymore, must be getting old.
I can see both points of view. Bill is seeing this from a personal point of view, while Kelly is citing its potential legal implications. I don’t know how I would feel if I saw those protesters outside my loved one’s funeral, especially when that loved one died protecting their freedom of speech. It’s a legally delicate situation. I’ll be looking to hear the verdict on this case.
Ken Tucker’s clear bias against O’Reilly is obvious, with wording like “[O'Reilly] can usually bully his way through any argument he pleases by cutting off an opinion with which he disagress”
Uhh….yeah. That is what O’Reilly does a lot. That is also why many people watch him. He is like professional wrestling of commentary. Admit it, his show it much more entertaining when he blows his lid.
O’Reilly HAS cut off people with opposing viewpoints on his show. That’s a fact, not bias.
I’d just like to see these church a-holes run out of town on a runaway wagon.
I don’t care what the crazies at Fox News say about morality or religion, their words have nothing to do with church! They preach their own faith in themselves and their false idols. Neither side has a handle on the true teachings of the Bible.
Poor Megyn will probably get fired soon, no one in FOX noise tells the king he has no clothes.
I’m just suprised O’reilly let it go as long as he did. Normally, he would’ve cut off her mic. The guy’s a clown at the FoxNews Circus.
Amazing how many totally lost people have posted in this comments section. If you think CNN and MSNBC are “legit” or “real news sources,” you are totally and completely helpless and obviously either too lazy or too stupid to think for yourself. Do you think it is happenstance that 80% of the “reporters” and commentators on these two networks used to work for Democrat Presidents? Do you think it is just by chance that so many “reporters” have left these two networks to go work for the current administration?
Dumb as a box of rocks. But hey, I am glad that “hope and change” is working out for you.
The news portion of Fox is the only balanced thing on TV. Their commentary shows (O’Reilly, Hannity, etc) are obviously slanted to an insane degree, but at least they have people on with them that have differing opinions. Chris Matthew’s idea of a “true Republican” is one who voted for Obama. Yeah, we pay attention to what happens on those networks.
Then again, I guess I shouldn’t expect people who spend their time concerned with American Idol and Desperate Housewives to have even the slightest clue about anything important.
Of course, no sooner do I say Fox’s commentary shows are slanted insanely to the right… Past two nights O’Reilly has been guest-hosted by Juan Williams.
The more I read about Megyn Kelly and her “rise to fame” the less I am impressed. Since when did verbally abusing your guests become appropriate?! She is following in the footsteps of the other Fox News giants like Sean Hannity and Bill O’Reilly themselves. Also, to touch on the subject of news organizations, the reason why CNN, HN, MSNBC and NPR rarely make the rounds in these sites is because whether their news is credible or not they don’t hire lunatics like Hannity, O’Reilly, Kelly, Palin, etc… TBH, I get better news coverage watching Jon Stewart and Stephen Colbert!
