It would have been even better if Jay was eating Doritos.
Letterman is getting the short end of the stick on that deal for sure.
I think it was great and gracious of Dave to extend the olive branch to Jay with Oprah as the intermediary. It’s great for Dave and it helps Jay look more favorable. Conan’s presence would have made it more interesting, but the friction has been more with Jay over the years.
