So Dissapointed!! I thought for sure Ashton would have had some better material to work with. It was just a boring night. The Sketch with Andy Sandberg playing Rahm Emanuel was funny and the Dad playing Punk Rock music at his daughter’s wedding was awesome- but the rest was just boring and dumb. SNL NEEDS NEW WRITERS!!!!
Yeah, I have to say, really weak effort. Had a few chuckles in the opening (attractive blond girl, ws amusing), monologue was meh (only time I laughed was when kid punched Mark Twain the in junk), reading of will sketch and roman emperor sketch were TERRIBLE. Laughed at the “Cialis for threesomes” commercial. The View was awful – they need to retire that thing. Weekend update was just OK – Samberg was done, fun watching Armisen and Wiig lose it, but Kenan’s Jean K Jean had weak material tonight. Oscar nominations got very tired quickly. Overall, a big mess.
