Turns out, Jon Stewart DID take down Bill O'Reilly

Earlier this week, I put up a post saying that while visiting The O’Reilly Factor, Jon Stewart and Bill O’Reilly engaged in a “love-fest. Read the full post.

The argument I found most compelling was the fact that Fox really does consider itself a “news” outlet–Jon Stewart delivers more news and he has never pretended to be a news broadcaster.

Disagree. I would like to agree- I like Jon Stewart. I don’t mind when comedians get serious either. But this interview was all about taking back his love for Obama. He appeared on O’reilly only because of the ratings and he wants to be credible. Stewart was all in with Obama and Obama is now a disappointment to him and many others.

How could Jon Stewart not concede to O’Reillys point about redistribution of wealth when Obama himself admits it?
    Wrong.

I hate the way elitist Progressives just scream louder and make their faces contort with this “are you kidding me look” as an answer. It’s bulling 101. So preschool.
Jon Stewart-keep working hard so people on welfare won’t have to.

Wonderufully funny! I don’t even really like Obama…. I just despise Fox News for its fear mongering…. when Fox added that Sarah to the mix, it only got more whacky. Now THAT’S entertainment. I may watch just to laugh. God help us Independents….

The edited version does tell a very different story than the one I saw on Fox, one that’s unflattering to Bill O’Reilly. Typical though – Fox doctors their material to make it fit their ideological narrative, and only rarely gets caught at it.

The sad part about all this well-meaning information is that it won’t make a bit of difference in the long run.

I don’t watch/listen to Stewart, O’Reilly, Rush, Beck, or Colbert. One they are not news but performers for their political agendas and they are all extremist who can’t find the middle of any situation. What is sad is most people pick on or the other of them. None are worth the time.

Stop the partisan garbage. Facts are facts let’s start there and then maybe compromise on moral issues. As far as I can see it let factual evidence base ideas for change. I love Stewart… very smart and very funny man. Bill O’Reilly very good at what he does but as far as this country moving forward does anyone else see this problem of partisan hackery? Who cares who argued their side better in a game where arguing and skewing and rhetoric change minds rather than factual evidence presented to people who can make up their own mind on how things should go.

Her må Mattilsynet eller Forbrukerombudet ta skikkelig tak i saken.
