I thought Conan’s final show was the best. He was also a perfect gentleman to the end, showing neither bitterness or anger. His farewell speech was graceful, eloquent and sincere.
Leno was deemed a failure (who wouldn’t be after Johnny?) until he modified the format (opening audience greet is lame), changed the set (no curtains) and skewered Hugh Grant. Took him over a year to develop his version of The Tonight Show. Remember “Iron Jay”?
It’s gonna suck without Conan. :0(
I thought Conan’s message was heartfelt and inspired. His TS finale was an unforgettable hour of television, truly.

celebrities like Conan when peoplz in Haiti are suffering!?!?!!???1!!! They need food more than we need people like him!!!! I say we cut COCO into little pieces and march him right into the middle of Haiti in bite size wafers. Who’s with me?!?!?!?!?!?!?
It was a good show until the Will Ferrell number. And even if Conan was enjoying himself, I’m sure a lot of the audience certainly wasn’t. I agree with the writer who suggested that Neil Young be the lead singer in that song. Why not close the show with good music?
Except for the exceedingly irritating Ferrell, Conan’s last show was perfect
