ABC, pleaseeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee don’t cancel Better off Ted. Promote it, ask Jay or Portia to go to Late Night or SNL to promote it.
It looks like NBC will need to fill 5 hours of programming each week in the near future. Plus BOT’s ratings are good by NBC standards. I think we have a match here.
Is this the right venue to beg for the life of BOT? Shouldn’t we be writing to the network? Let’s do it!!!!
I’ve finally caught up. The episode where they test the PA was hilarious – laugh out loud funny. I had to watch it twice this morning! I just signed the petition. This show is funnier than The Office and 30 Rock combined!
I, as well, am a HUGE fan of Better Off Ted and recommend it to everyone. Not one episode has failed to get me laughing out loud.
I hope the rumors of its cancellation prove to be untrue.
BUT something to keep in mind, as a employee with a night shift, my enjoyment has been through ABC.com or Hulu.com. Is the network taking those viewing into account??
How many people really watch TV live anymore??
Better Off Ted is just as smart and as funny as Modern Family and should be given more of a chance. Perhaps a some schedule shifting will get a wider audience watching?
I must also throw in – Kudos to ABC this year. They’re presenting some really fantastic programming. AND thanks so much for joining the Hulu community and letting us poor schlubbs without DVRs participate!!
I think I missed some news updetas somewhere. You\’re saying Ted Kennedy has spent the last 40 years driving young women into the water? Why haven\’t I heard this before?Actually, the Madden story just seems to be a sad indication of what the right-wing thinks is funny these days. Let\’s see… It would be amusing if someone poisoned a few Supreme Court justices (Ann Coulter). A gun pointed at Barack Obama is a really funny idea (Mike Huckabee). Wouldn\’t it be cool if all three Kennedy brothers in politics were assassinated? To me, the Rev. Wright story doesn\’t come anywhere near this shameful, disgusting mindset.
