Poor Wilson: Even his good deeds are doomed to end in disappointment. Perhaps Huddy shippers should note that his misguided conviction that House & Cuddy belong together is just as misguided as all his other idealistic misjudgments!
Nice comment – very true. But what I do think would be a good idea is Wilson and Cuddy… I really am sorry that the writers never explored them. They’d make a great couple! So much better than the nauseatingly fake Huddy.
Here, here! or is it Hear, hear!
House was great last night (although the guy calling Wilson “Jim” was bugging me). It would be nice if all doctors had Wilson’s bedside manner. It was interesting to see Wilson saying he was donating his liver to his “friend” and then realizing he didn’t really like the guy and that House is his real friend. And House showed some vulnerability when he said he couldn’t lose Wilson. All in all, a great episode. And I really like Cuddy and the detective. I liked the guy when he was on last year, and I like him now. He doesn’t play games. He told Cuddy he was interested in her the first time he met her in a diner and now he is there for her, something House can’t be. I know he is only there to facilitate a Cuddy-House get-together (which I want), but I enjoy the character and the actor.
I loved Lie to Me last night. It was amazing. Tim Roth is such a fabulous actor and I love the relationship between Gillian and Cal.
wow, House does an entire character study on Wilson, and EW.com still doesn’t find it worth of a tv column of it’s own. You guys used to show this show such love, now it’s like the redheaded stepchild to you.
- because the show sucks!
LOL.
Tiffany–click on the link directly under Ken Tucker’s article–House now has its own recap!!! About time.
I agree with Tiffany! The whole episode was how Wilson was acting like House (risky treatments, diagnosing based on small clues), and the recapper missed it all!
I didn’t catch why Wilson’s friend (the liver recipient) let him down in the end.
He let him down by re-ditching his family and going back to the pretty young thing. “There are people you want when you’re dying and people you want when you’re living” or some such.
Yes I did watch Lie To Me last night and you hit the nail on the head! Cal and Vegas! Made for each other. Like I have said before Roth can do anything.
I don’t think anyone stole a moment or the show from Roth at all. I love Mamet but Roth is a whole different animal. A sexy one too! No one can upstage his manner or attractiveness!
Thank you for the article!
I know people don’t care for Cal bedding the lovely ladies for a nighter but I think it fits in with his love for the moment if that makes any sense. There has been a lot of talk on twitter and the Lie To Me board about this episode. Most controversial it seems. Like that! Oh how I loved it when Cal put $1 million on 00! Priceless! Living in the moment!
Usually, I have a wallpaper of Chase and Cameron as my desktop background. After last night’s amazing episode, it is now a very large picture of RSL. Last night was one of my absolute favorite episodes EVER.
Wilson is my favorite character now.
I liked House’s nod to Monty Python when he stated that the room for an argument was 26A. Took me a second, but very funny, I thought, and apropos. A lot of Hugh Laurie’s humour is in the vein of Monty Python’s silliness, and this was a small but fitting tribute. Also, this show highlighted the negative aspects of House that are rubbing off on Wilson (revenge? Wilson??? Say it ain’t so!!!), and may be either the beginning of a beautiful cronyism, or a collision course (again) for the two. I thought it was well-done. Kudos.
I love this show. It and Dexter are the best character development studies on TV.
Actually, reviewed it, it was room 12A, not 26A. Still a good moment.
House could’ve used more House. Hugh’s the reason I watch the show. As for Lie to Me, Tim Roth is the best actor ever. I’m not surprised to see he’s on the best show. Lie to Me has always been my favorite for a reason. I would love to see Lie to Me’s ratings take it to the top 20.
Pretty sure it’s “Mekhi”, not “Mikhi”.
