Hey SNL?Fart Jokes?Really? And Hey SNL?Hoda Kotb doesn’t have a lisp, find someone else.Wow if Taylor Swift’s ep was the “best” it’s time to put SNL out of it’s misery.Either they need a complete shake up including letting Lorne Micheals “retire” or they need something new.And guess what?Comcast isn’t going to tolerate crap shows.

Um… the web site the Jon Bovi group dropped… Google with B’s, is a real site and one that many people wouldn’t want to stumble upon, especially at work. I’m sure it was completely innocent, and if I didn’t have such an insightful boyfriend, then I wouldn’t have known about it either. Just a word of warning. Don’t “Google with B’s” it. Unless you want to that is…

Wow, that may have actually been the funniest thing about this show, and it was probably unintentional!

a porn google directory?! holy f, that’s hilarious!

Recently there was some controversy over whether a magazine enhanced January Jone’s cleavage on their front cover. Judging by what I saw last night, there’s very little happening up top there for Miss Jones. I think we have our answer. She’s still an immaculate specimen regardless.

This episode was like a bad dream. I could not believe how tedious ut felt just to sit and watch, it was painful. January Jones is a terrible actress, my dog would have been funnier. Kristen Wiig just gives me the urge to throw her a suckerpunch. She manages to grow more annyoing with every sketch. SNL has become the Kristen Wiig show. Very disappointing.

I think the issue is that some actors just can’t work live. They need several takes to get it right, or whatever. And those are usually the people who do terrible jobs as host. The other issue is that the writing this year is HORRIBLE. They need to fire the writers and get some fresh ideas in there. Ugh.

      toatally agree. Terrible writing.

I couldn’t agree more. The writer’s need to take a lot of the blame. Maybe if the actor’s had something to work with it would be better. I’m old enough that I’ve been watching SNL since the beginning. Long for the good ol’ days.

    I missed Gerard Butler????!!! Dang.

I love her on Mad Men and did not have high hopes for her. Idk who her manager is but they def did not make a good decision having her on. Plus, if you don’t watch mad men who even knows who she is? Wonder how she’ll be in Pirate Radio

    • Sara

I heard she only has a cameo in Pirate Radio. Not even a significant role or anything. IDK why they had her on.

  • Shane

You can tell January is talentless when the cast had to do all the heavy lifting during her monologue. Those hosts that can really show off their comedy chops don’t need any cast members carrying them through the monologue. Look at Taylor Swift or Dane Cook a few years back.

I agree that the (very brief) bit on “Mad Men” theme lyrics was the only moment that prompted a faint smile. Oddly, JJ did not even succeed at her normal forte of looking glam! Black capri pants and a baggy top? Looked like Laura Petrie doing her housework on “The Dick VanDyke Show.”

  • Nicole

Oh and I just don’t understand why they’d bother doing the Hoda and Kathie Lee sketch anymore without Michaela Watkins. I like Wiig but she can’t really carry tht on her own, it was Watkins who made that sketch funny (in my opinion) Poor jenny slate

  • Jonathan Juarbe

ok last night wasnt that good I agree…..but Ken Tucker…enough with Taylor Swift…she was HORRIBLE!!! what is wrong woth you

  • Kate

The “Ladies Guide” instructional film was hilarious, the best part of the show. The Hitchcock fart sketch was absolutely APPALLING, as was the rest of the evening. I don’t believe it was January Jones’ fault – the writers gave her virtually nothing to work with. I think Lorne Michaels really needs to consider cleaning house regarding the writing staff at the end of this season – if not sooner. The current situation is looking more and more like the disastrous SNL season of 1994-95. And it wouldn’t break my heart if Andy Samberg left too. At this point I think Bill Hader and Jason Sudeikis are carrying the show.

There was one fleeting redeeming moment all night. It was during the monologue, when Armisen, who recently wed Elizabeth Moss, said, in character, that he preferred Peggy to Betty on “Mad Men.”

  • JC

January Jones was a dud, but did you noticed how she brightened up and acted when she had to do the scene in rear window? Why didn’t she bring enthusiasm in the rest of skit?

    Very strange…

    • Polanski’s Lovechild

      Because she’s one dimensional.

I had heard about the awesome Taylor Swift SNL so tonight I decided to watch even though I’m not a major SNL fan. But yeah, I was greatly disappointed. January Jones was fair and the Black Eyed Peas didn’t sound all that great live. But I’m happy that Joseph Gordon Levitt is hosting next week. I have high hopes for him.
