Love Mad Men! I’m so sad the season is over. What am I doing tonight? Going to bed early since it won’t be on.
The Prisoner is a mini-series, so it really can’t be considered a replacement. It will be over by the middle of the week.
.
In any case, my DVR is so backed up that I’ve started downloading shows I haven’t watched yet so I can free up some room. I really don’t need a replacement at the moment.
Gene, I love MM and miss it so much already. Re your comment about “conservatives” opposing it, I am one of those most of the time; and I think that’s a pretty broad opinion. I don’t see why a person of either political view would have a problem with this amazing show. I can’t believe we have to wait till next summer for the next season!
To fill the gap, I rewatched Down With Love, set in 1962 New York City. Totally different mood than Mad Men, but it nicely led the way with the fashion and business environment of the era.
Everyone is entitled to an opinion but the poster who said they were glad the season was over, clearly has little appreciation for what makes “Mad Men” great.
I’m a true Draper fan and will miss this very much. Well scripted and great characters. Draper was the only reason I watched Mad Men
I love Mad Men but a few episodes were really boring, The end was good. Mad Men is a good show but a fad that will run it’s course.
