Wanda Sykes is terrific: at ease and bawdy; The Wanda Sykes Show is awkward: self-conscious and constrained. Read the full post.

Another two-bit performer force feeding her liberal agenda in the form of social commentary. It is supposed to be late night entertaint. Wanda, stick to what you know–side kick slap stick; not politics.

I’ve watched the show since the beginning. This past week will be the last one I watch. I don’t watch whites when they are raging on blacks, so I won’t be watching blacks when they are raging on whites, even if it’s Wanda. Not funny. Maybe a different format for the material is needed, not comedy.

I have to agree with most of the posters here. This show is NOT funny and I am a big Wanda fan from her days on the Chris Rock show. I stumbled on this show one night looking for something to watch and was immediately happy to find that she had her own show, but dear lord it was awful! It needs immediate changes fast or FOX I’m sure will be pulling the plug.

Just tuned it in this evening.
I’m not given to cussing, but jeez, the show SUCKS….

    Hmmm, Let me add…
Even the show’s guest, Ray Romano, could tell this show was DYING. As Wanda tried to talk about the Killer whale incident, Ray twirled the swizzle stick in his glass. You could alsmost hear him thinking, “Please, for the love of Mike, let me out of here NOW.”

I love wanda’s talent. Also love guests Chris Rock and Ray Romano. But as they sat there waiting to be cued up, all were visibly uncomfortable. So it’s the format that doesn’t work; because when Rock sits silent looking placid, something’s wrong. Wanda get it together, girl; you can do better! Is this a talk show or cluster comedy without the big bang?

Wanda I just want too say. That since chris Rock has a movie about black women wanting hair like white women. What about how white women go through extremes, trying to get what we have. our lips our ass and are color. Somebody should come out with that one

I use to think that Wanda was very funny and witty ;I wash her on christine and stand up.She is making the same mistake that Helen made in her first show ;making the show too political and must important ,her personal life style. Went you want comedy you want it political life style and so on but not like she does-ALL THE TIME. Helen stop doing that and now is very funny and everybody like her. I PREDIT THAT HER SHOW WILL BE CANCEL BEFORE THE END OF THE YEAR; SORRY BECAUSE I LIKE HER.

Wanda is so clearly uncomfortable up there. She reads cue cards and stumbles on her words each and every time! The “Please keep it going for Portia and Keith Robinson” every show is soooo annoying -we don’t need to clap individually for each person. The different segments make no sense-how is the Wandarama any different from the opening monologue? It’s current news with some pictures -usually pro Obama stuff. Very reverse racism going on. And what’s with Wanda’s posture? Does she wear a back brace or something? She is so stiff!
I try and try and try to love Wanda the way I used to but this show is the worst ever!

Wanda Sykes is a comedienne that is on her way to the top. She will get her feel and become a very funny easy to watch late night host for FOX. JUST WATCH. And if not then she’ll do something else. Dirk.

  • Kahoneez

Rumor has it she went to a DATING service and they matched her up with a Semi-Truck Engine that seized up . They both have the same high pitch screech.

  • Celeste

How can such an incredibly funny woman be SO ALIENATING to the audience?

  • missyw.

I liked the show even tho some1 else w/my same name evidently didn’t
