this is awesome news. especially that they’ll repeat the original episodes.
The best part about TNT shows is they air 3 hours behind the east coast INSTEAD of the same time slot AS the east coast. So when east coasters are watching Southland at 10PM EST, us west coasters get to watch it at 7PM. .. 7pm being BEFORE primetime tv so my DVR won’t be in overload. I fricken love it. Usa Network, TNT, SyFy.. they all do it which is AWESOME for us west coasters.
Thanks TNT for picking up an awesome series. NBC wouldn’t know a hit if it smacked em in the face. What’s that you say.. you need proof? Fine.. one word answer should suffice… MEDIUM! It’s on CBS now and has higher ratings than when it was NBC. NBC is pathetic.. remember Crossing Jordan? .. oh those were the good ‘ol days.
What are you talking about? TNT shows air at the same times as the east coast – Southland will come on at 10pm PST, the same as it comes on at 10PM EST. Central is an hour earlier, but that’s how it is with all the stations.

I def have that problem Simpsons (more from gntsaloia), Luck (Milch fan, though the show may not keep my attention much longer), Shameless (Emmy Rossum and Shanola Hampton are hot), House of Lies (meh ), Eastbound and Down and Californication (awesome hilarity), Walking Dead (getting good again)
Southland is great a show and has finally gotten the home that it deserves.
Southland is a good fit with TNT’s The Closer and Saving Grace. And it should get a good audience share.
This is GREAT news. I’m so glad there are networks who still recognize good television and choose to save programs like Southland from the can. NBC has absolutely NOTHING left worth watching.

I am so pumped that TNT picked it up. I really hope this show takes off. It’s a good cop show and the characters are wonderful and yes, I want to see how the storyline plays out. Here’s hoping tons of viewers pick up on it.
yes!! Tuesdays are perfect! I have nothing else to watch besides the Biggest Loser (the only show I watch on NBC) so I can definitely start watching Southland religiously. I’ve been in love with Ben McKenzie since he was Ryan Atwood, troubled teen with a heart of gold. LOL

I’m glad to see a second life for Southland. However as a Canadian viewer who doesn’t have access to TNT I’m still screwed unless a Canadian broadcaster pickas up the broadcasts. DOWN WITH NBC! bring me the head of Jay Leno!!
