I’m almost afraid to write anything … but for anyone who wants to get away from the self-righteous bitterness here, go to The Biggest Loser. Yes, there are snarky remarks there, but clearly they’re written mostly in fun and good humor, not with such mean-ness behind them.
I BET KATE REGRETS TREATING JON LIKE THE WAY SHE DID….SHE CAME FROM NOTHING NOW SHE HAS NOTHING…SHE IS A WANNA BE AND SHE IS A BITCH…..DAMN HER DAUGHTER MADY IS JUST LIKE HER..I WISH MY CHILDREN WOULD ACT LIKE THAT IN PUBLIC OR AT HOME…..THIS MOMMY DOES NOT PLAY THAT……
TLC showed Kate as controlling, demanding and degrading to Jon and now TLC wants everyone to feel sorry for her. TLC have overloaded everyone with too much Jon and Kate – Kate is greedy and loves the fame and money. The show has really become sickening!
If trashing your husband is a crime then I’m going away for a long time. There are not many married women who don’t feel like choking their husband frequently. Mine is an idoit about alot of things. I love him though. Some might call me verbally abusive. Maybe I am. Don’t pretend like you don’t do it to though.
Why cant it just be true what she says? She has become dependant on the money she couldnt raise 8 kids on a nurses income.. Oh and wait like Jon would be so great about child support… Quit hating
this woman is a drama queen, you can cry all you want anyone who watched the show can see you never really wanted take responsibility for your marriage anyways, always nagging the poor man, thank goodness he is free from your prison; called marriage
Could the possibility loom that the show was losing ratings behind the scenes, and this was all trumped to for new reality shows on how they are coping with the separation. If it is true, and Jon call Kate, it will be because he missed the money.
My gf loves this show, but I never watched it. I didn’t even become aware of the show until their marriage started to dissolve and they were the cover story for tabloids. I just feel sorry for the children and hope that they have money they can touch when they all turn eighteen because they were subjected to all this craziness.
Kate – whew! she takes no responsibility, KimR stated it perfectly! There is always a “but” even when she says she is wrong, never apologizes, and last night on the “Top 10″ I was DYING to hear her apologize to Jodie about her total 2 year old meltdown about the gum… after they take all 8 kids for the weekend never a Thank you but a screaming ridiculous 2 fit “who gives someone gum” She went so far as to say “I stand by my fit about the gum” ARE YOU KIDDING ME? At that time she had someone else doing her laundry, folding and ironing so Princess made a fool out of herself… and my other fav “I am a star moment…. the little kids painful to watch 5th b-day party when she was to big to do anything for herself and they caught on film her barking orders to the crew… and the highlight… telling some PA to “get me my coat” I thought for sure the next line would have been “I am ready for my close up, get these kids out of the way” Fav line from the Nataline Morales interview, to many to chose …LOVE how she always says “MY” kids and her repetative self contratictives she once said she would work at McDonalds to provide for “HER” kids but she always says it has gone to far they can’t go back… Kate how about looking at your own film? AND another FAV… “this house is the kids, I have always said it is THEIR house”… REWIND to the shot of her standing in the kitchen window saying “MINE, it is all MINE as far as they eye can see” How did this clown ever get a nursing license, and thank goodness she didn’t keep up with her CEU’s so she will lose her license because I would be terrified if she was ever caring for someone I know!

She’s the one who wanted a divorce! Jon didn’t want the show anymore but SHE made the decision to continue & he allowed it! Other people have a lot of kids and manage to take care of them. Kate can’t live without all the freebies she gets so she’ll TRY to continue with some farce of a show but it won’t last, believe me. She has NO talent, no personality and nothing to offer.
I agree with A.E. People need to stick to the facts & not their opinions. Research has proven that families of multiples have a higher divorce rate from the pressures. I believe they could have made it if they had went through counseling & shown us a victoy story. Kate is an amazing woman & all the haters out there should take a back seat, including Jon! Sometimes you have to reassess your dreams & I believe Kate forgot that people evolve & that’s part of marriage. She should have respected that Jon was unhappy, but he should have expressed it more assertively rather than passive aggressively. I’m sorry they have to be so ugly on TV. This is what their children will remember not the show and it’s great opportunities. Jon was not thinking about his kids. Shame on him! Remember, the purpose of the show was to show us how to effectively run a home w/ multiples, and Kate did that. I don’t believe that was such a bad idea or detrimental to the the family, but envy and resentment were! Be blessed!
I am not a nurse, but I did take offense to Kate’s remark about not being able to return to that type of work. Nursing is an honerable profession which takes caring and compassion. If she really is “from the schoool of hard work” then she should put her talents to better use. The kids won’t starve as long as she gets her priorities straight. Maybe she needs a Money Makeover from Dave Ramsey!
I know I’m late but everyone needs to leave this poor woman alone. Her kids are fine, happy and healthy and that’s what matters. Jon is a douche bag, let her pick up her ashes and move on!!
