USA has finally done something that I like even more than just it as a series. It has finally recognized BLACK women in starring supporting roles as in White Collar! One of my favorite ladies Ms. Diane Carroll and the black actress playing Tim DeKay’s FBI trainee. It’s more than time television producers and directors have a MORE diverse ethnic group of women (Black women who have been left out of multiple TV shows) actors. They too have great acting ablility and beauty.

    Thanks finally USA!!!

my friends and i loved it, and so agree that we enjoyed the diverse ethnicity in this show. when tim asked dihann if he knew matt was a felon? and she said her husband byron was too. so smooth, so silky, i cracked up.

this show has layers in its characters that i can’t wait to discover, and people playing the characters that i know can play the layers. yummy tummy friday. go USA. it feels like the olympics.

I agree Sheila! I’m afraid this moment is short-lived. If you notice, the FBI Associate isn’t in the previews for upcoming shows. I too thought it was great to see the wonderful Diahnn Carroll in this series bringing her one-and-only fabulousness.

I don’t usually watch series on reg tv, but i gotta hand it to the folks at USA, Awsome show!!!!!!!!!!!

I have to say, I LOVED this show. I have seen it three times due to re-runs, and it is the only show- the ONLY one- I have been still interested in even after seeing it multiple times. Small details you miss the first time, and a great dialog between everyone that keeps it entertaining. Definite keeper.

loved it….but i most say half of why i can’t wait to watch it again is because Matthew Bomer (Neal Caffrey)….could he be more dreamy..lol

I loved the cops reaction to Neal landing on his feet despite his poor choices in life. I have a little brother that is the same way and my reaction is the same! It was very real! I also hate that shows seem to feel like they need a token gay all the time now but I didn’t feel the probie was contrieved to be comic relief, she was a natural fit instead. Tiffani was fantastic as the wife! I love they didn’t make her a steotype! Great show!

Hello Sherrie! I see you found this already. I just sent it to you!!

Loved it!!! Remind me of “It Takes a Thief” (although I’m not that old) It is wonderful to see Ms. Diahann Carroll in such a positively gracious role. I will add to my USA line-up along with Burn Notice (most favorite show) and Royal Pains. What an excellent replacement to Monk..Thank You, USA for another great show!!!

My first reaction was it was an updated “It Takes a Thief”. I’m old enough to have watched ITAT, but not quite old enough for my AARP card!!

Matthew Bomer and Tim DeKay have great chemistry and I really hope the quality of next episodes live up to that of the pilot. The crime solving story was fairly generic, but the characters and dialogue totally overshadowed that. Full review of the episode.

I didn’t watch it but I might check it out now.

Very enjoyable show as are so many on USA network. Too bad the programming boss or whoever at USA who picks these shows is not in charrge of programming at USA’s parent… NBC.

Really enjoyed this show, much to my surprise. I don’t watch any other USA shows (Burn Notice, Monk, etc.) But this was good. I know many are swooning for Matt Bomer, but I’m officially a Tom DeKay fangirl after last night’s premiere. Also, nice to see Diahann Carroll in the cast.

  • shannon

    loved it !

  • Meredith44

I enjoyed it. I didn’t love it as much as Burn Notice, but unless something crazy happens over the next few episodes, I’ll keep watching.

  • Tracey

Absolutely loved it!!! So excited about this show!

  • jason steele

Burn Notice, Royal Pains, and now White Collar…way to go USA!

  • wildiris

Loved the show. Great chemistry between the leads and good casting all around. I loved Matt Bomer in the way-too-short-lived series Traveler as well. He also happens to be gorgeous. I’ll be watching this!

  • Dee

Loved it. Why is this show not on NBC’s schedule? Blown opportunity.

    • Bill from Las Vegas

NBC has decided to get out of the scripted series business. The only shows worth watching are “Law & Order” and “SVU”, and TPTB are doing their damnedest to kill both shows off this season by giving them lousy time slots so that King Lameo can have five nights at 10pm.
