in the beginning, nancy said what i was thinking! of course he wants it to end when it’s not about him, but lots of parents argue. i’m not usually a nancy grace fan, but i like how she tells it to people’s faces and tells it like it is, if that makes sense.

Jon hasn’t done anything wrong. Anybody who has watched Jon and Kate from the beginning, as I have, knows that Jon is a good guy who just couldn’t take Kate’s verbal abuse anymore.
Now, she is very good at playing the role of the abandoned wife who has no money, but I’m not buying it. Jon said that she told him last October 2008 that she would go her way and he would go his. But she acts like he left her. She has to do that to play the victim. She’s very conniving. That being said, if she had her own show, I would watch it. lol
Jon should stick to more reputable media outlets like Larry King, and stay away from shows like The Insider, and low level reporters like Chris Cuomo.

But, does nobody remember the TLC film crew, who walked off the show a year or so ago, because they could “no longer morally continue to film while Kate verbally and emotionally abused her husband and children”??? TLC sure buried that story fast!
Jon deserves full custody, so those kids can have a shot at being emotionally healthy adults. That will never happen as long as Kate is in their lives.

It is very clear to me Jon doesn’t nor never intended to be the person who had primary custody of the kids. He has clearly shown he is about himself. If the problem was just his and Kates he wouldn’t have issues doing the show but he has put himself into the spot he is in now. His actions are screaming at this point.I firmly believe the babysitter he had sex with in the home can prove it and I also believe some of those text messages will be used against him in court when it comes to the kids. Even if it is not workable between him and Kate he does have 8 kids and who wants to bring a known drug user home to care for them and she ain’t exactly faithful to Jon Newsflash JON. Jon’s behavior right after the separation showed extremely poor judgement to say the least, but most men would experience temporary insanity when they were finally rid of a shrew of a wife like Kate. Long before the split, Kate’s own family members admitted that she cut Jon off from his family and friends.
I’d love to see most of the Kate supporters here live with the sociopath herself, and then say they stand behind her.
At least Jon finally woke up and realized that his kids need to have some semblence of a normal life. Even though psych professionals have warned against it, Kate wants “the show to go on”. Why? Because she has no concern about how she makes money, even if it is at the expense of her own children. Everyone knows that they’ve earned enough to live comfortably the rest of their lives, but for Kate there will never be enough.

Umm Jon Gosselin was fine and happy and had no problem about TLC filming his kids and now that TLC has cut ties with him, he is now taking action and doesn’t want to TLC to film his kids anymore. IF he really cared about the welfare of kids he should stopped TLC long time ago. He’s just bitter because he no has a show. Boo hoo. He is a wannabe celebrity who thinks he is macho and very handsome , in reality he is fat pig. Glad Nancy Grace put him in his place.
Jon is jerk, but Kate is no angel either. I don’t endorse Jon’s behavior, but also could not live with Kate for 10 years like he did. She is such an overbearing nag, was terribly disrespectful to him and, frankly, has shown that she has a mean streak in how she treats those kids. They are both to blame for the situation and the only ones that deserve sympathy are the kids.
I agree, the kids are the only ones who get my sympathy here, (this speaking as the kid of separating parents herself) I am sick of my own parents going around and trying to get smypathy from people, and my feelings being ignored, and I’m adult, so I can only imagine how those kids feel, and how it is for them to have their parents bickering back and forth being so played out in the media. Best thing that could ever happen to those kids is they get sent to boarding school and Jon and Kate get a restraining order barring them from being within 100 feet of those kids, and they will only have themselves to blame for no longer being allowed in their kids lives…

Ugh! You people have no idea what it’s like to have extraordinary familial situations, be that multiples or kids with special needs- and the profound effect it has on any of those relationships. Kate’s always struck me as a great mom but w/high anxiety w/good reason! Jon is so ridiculously passive and now has created a mess. Having only twins increases the chances of divorce alone! 8 just put them over the edge. I still like Kate…I can just FEEL her stress and grief over this as fellow mother in an extra-stressful situation beyond her control. Just sucks that they’re doing so in public, but that why they get the big bucks! The kids will be just fine.
Right. The kids always end up fine when they’re exploited for TV. Just look at the cast of “Diff’rent Strokes”. They were actors, but they still end up a walking punchline overall…oh, except for the one that died from a drug overdose…and the one that ended up in prison…anyway, just a matter of time before one or all of the kids end up with a number of emotional or criminal problems.
“The kids will be just fine?” I can’t believe that anyone would actually think that! They’re already exibiting signs of trauma. Just look at their behavior on the show! And God only knows what goes on when the cameras aren’t rolling.
You can see those kids cower when they know Kate is in a bad mood. No matter what you think about Jon, the kids are so much calmer and happier when he’s the one at home with them.
