The Family Feud with the Osmonds against the Phillips circa 1982 was a funny but awkward piece of satire.
The “catfight” was very funny, but I didn’t figure out at first that the other performer was really Madonna – she looked like she’d had extensive work done on her face. I finally recognized her more from her arms than from her face.
I thought this episode was MUCH better than last week’s, which was about as non-funny as they come.
I thought the Laday Gaga/Madonna sketch was AWFUL. Every time either of them talked, I covered my ears and ground my teeth. I only watched the about 3/4 of the show, but I didn’t think they utilized Ryan Reynolds’s talent at all!

I thought this ep was pretty funny, I seem to be in the minority… Ryan was great as usual. I was totally impressed by his Aussie accent! The opening sketch with Obama was sadly true, I could not help but laugh. I loved the PBS Oslo spoof. They can not all be gems, but overall a good laugh.
I can’t believe I’m saying this but Madonna looks great. She still isn’t a very good actor, but she is game and that’s what counts.
How sad for SNL if the Andy Samberg thing was the funniest skit of the night. Anyone remember the last time Saturday Night Live was really, truly funny? I think it’s time to put this show to rest once and for all.
The porcelan fountain bit reminded me of Joe Piscipos “Jersey” sketch from the early eighties. I understand that Fred Armesen was trying to say it slowly so that he did not say it like the way it would usually be said :Yougoddagetyourselfaporcelanfountain, but somehow it was not effective enough. If Jason Sudekis did it the joke would have been too obvious. Scarlett did the accent perfectly. I am from Brooklyn, and I have heard that accent soo many times. lol! Lady Ga Ga and Madonna stole the show. lol.
I can’t call myself a Lady Gaga fan, but she truly stole the show this week. She sure is a superior comedic actor than Madonna. She really eclipsed her in that department, but man Madonna looked waaaaaay hotter than her even though she is more than twice her age. Gaga’s trying with all her might to be the new Madonna. She might succeed, but watching her on stage you are constantly reminded of the original queen. Their skit together was poorly written to say the least. The episode was jam packed with guest stars, i guess in an attempt to conceal the sub par writing? Ahmedinejad’s wife made me laugh out loud when she said: “you have a hole in your a**”
