I think she was just upset that she wasn’t on for the full hour. Imagine Kate Gosselin having to share the hour with anyone. Jon is not parent of the year but at least he’s not such a prima dona expecting everyone to do for him.

I really think it’s time that both Jon & Kate sustain these kids lifestyles on their own dime.

We shall see just how many trips they are making on their own.

Great comment Kelly. There are plenty of large families out there who get by on their own. Sadly, I think it’s too late for the Gosselins.

Kate has amazing PR people. I do not know the truth in any of this, but I do know that. Kate filed for divorce with cryptic messages, Kate does People interviews and goes on TV crying, Kate makes “routine” police calls. These are all completely witchy, classless choices. Somehow though, after verbally abusing her husband on air for five years, she has become a victim in just five months. The American public is so forgiving. For all Jon’s immaturity, he seems much more consistent in his message. Not really a Jon fan either though. Lastly, these T-shirt debate has got to stop. Who knew you were a bad parent if you had a taste for ugly T-shirts? So Jon likes John Hardy, is this really reflective of his parenting skills?

My sentiment exactly ! Thank you !!

when will her 15 min be over, seriously she has done nothing of substance to constantly be on cnn and on all these tabliods. she thinks she is britney and she isnt. big deal she carried 6 babies at once. she had a c section and was on bed rest for most of her pregnancy. as a mother myself that alone does not impress me.

  • LizDee

I thought she did very well, but…if the papparazzi are so much trouble in her life, and the tabloids, why do a show like Larry King Live? In doing this last night, it keeps her in the spotlight, will bring out more tabloid stories and more photogs following her.
I wonder what her “big plans” are?

Even though Kate did act and speak disrespectfully to Jon, and it was not impressive, he was basically useless. Kate had to do it all and he acts like a weak victim. She is criticized for working, selling books, which is a completely respectful job and way to earn income for her family. Having 8 children to support no one can fault them for being excited to begin the reality show, and it took a course of it’s own but there is nothing wrong with her working hard to be able to raise her children in a nice home, have nice vacations, and hopefully put them thru college. Chancess are it was this, or welfare when Jon inevitabely couldn’t grow up and help support his many children. Perhaps if she had been with an equal hard working partner her frustrations would not have come out in such a critical way. She definitely should never speak that way to anyone, but Jon has shown what a pathetic, weak, cad he is. His behavior is making Kate look like a saint. The children are not being harmed by having camera’s around, they are benefitting in a multitude of ways and it’s not fair to judge Kate so harshly for being smart, and capable to be sure to support them as best she can. I hope she finds someone wonderful and I hope Jon looks back with deep regret for how he has failed his wife, his children and for what a fool he has made of himself.

For anyone who said she was on bedrest, had a C-section, etc… as though she were lazy is ridiculous. Can you even imagine all the work she does every single day taking care of 8 kids? Meals, baths, all the hundreds of things every single day? It’s exhausting to even think about. I had two children and the thought of 6 more would have put me over the edge! Yikes! She does a very good job!

    • Shurly

Do you really think that she is alone to do all that ??

  • Carolann

I know Kate and I can tell you she is a awful woman, always has been. I wish TLC would take the show off the air.

  • Melony

How do you know Kate? Why is she an awful woman? Give details

  • heatherq

That’s the point. She DOESN’T take care of the kids. But the TLC production crew, nannies, babysitters, cooks, and housekeepers sure do.

And now it’s reported that the kids are fighting against being filmed. GO KIDS!!! Hopefully this train wreck will end. Kate would be MOTHING wiothoout theses kids. People tuned in to see the kids and to see the dynamic between Jon and Kate. Now all the show is kate talking to that camera. BOOORRING!!!! Kate, your 15 minutes are at 14:45 and counting. All you have to look forward to is 8 kids hating your guts and going to therapy because you’ve destroyed them by your need for greed.

  • susan

I didn’t watch the show. I used to enjoy Jon and Kate plus 8 because, it was a happy family show. That is no longer the case and they really need to cancel this show.

  • lynn vic

There are REAL cases of child abuse out there-this family is not one of them. The kids look happy to me-so many kids have it much worse. It’s not a show that’s live 24 hours. It’s a few hours of taping /editing. The photographers/media are the ones who should be ashamed of their behavior here. No way this woman can raise 8 kids on a nurses salary-day care would eat the money up. Let her make some money, put some away for their future-which she has. If you think they are abused-then what about child stars? The parents have issues-but I’ve seen much worse parents out there in the real world. They go to school/have friends like anyone else. It’s a different life than most of ours-but why is that wrong?

    • jennie

Its different from today’s life. my grandfather was the youngest of 11 his mother was a stay at home mom and his dad worked. supported a family of 11 on 1 salary. dont pity this woman because she choose to have fertility drugs. she knew what she was getting into.

  • Minnie

She’s an actress. Pure and simple. And not a very good one. She’s pimping her kids out for cash and has a fan club for her efforts. Sad commentary on American and child welfare concerns. Easy on the ex? It isn’t hard when TLC’s paying you big bucks to play the madonna. And if you don’t think TLC told her to take a xanex and reign in her completely off-putting personality, then you’ve got your head in the sand.

  • Susan

I think Jon is a childish man. Kate may be a control freak, but I think she is a lovely woman. I would yell at my husband if he acted the way Jon did. His current behavior shows it all.

  • Minnie

Do I feel bad for her for being on bedrest? I was on bedrest with a singleton for AGES. I didn’t elect to have complications. Kate Gosselin elected to have a litter (for whatever reason)and she therefore knew her odds for bedrest were sky-high if not inevitable. She had in-vitro in her early 20s… After three months of natural attempts at conception (with the twins). Even if her condition warrented medical intervention, what’s the rush. She had a decade to try and have “just one more” naturally.
