Are you freaking kidding me??? DCFS needs to step in and take over. There is no way this woman can raise these kids and give them the attention every child deserves. She seriously needs to place these infants in loving homes who will give them the life they deserve. How selfish is she? Obviously, very selfish or she wouldn’t have done this. DCFS, are you listening???
The makeup thing was the perfect thesis for the essay-from-hell that is this TV Show. I thought I’d just click back and forth, but what I saw riveted me like any horrible wreck tends to rivet people. Her kids are hysterical, screaming, attention-starved and she doesn’t discipline them at all. How CAN she? Also, I think it’s telling that she says her mom grew up in a cold household with no attention, and passed it along to Nadya herself. Well, just because there are billion screaming kids altogether in this house doesn’t mean they aren’t being neglected. Kids need more than kisses and threats of time-out (and I do mean threats—she can’t follow through on any kind of discipline she’s attempting to mete out for the camera. How did her toddler learn the word “bitch,” and what it means? The whole bragging about her body, putting down Kate Gosslin, getting that tattoo, having acrylic stupid nails….blah blah blah…she doesn’t CARE about those kids. She is so narcissistic that she can’t even see the misery around her. She’s such a pathological liar that she just runs over anyone who brings up any kind of truth. Just because she’s speaking faster and louder than anyone else doesn’t mean she’s speaking the truth. She’s been caught in lies before. I don’t believe one word out of her mouth. And the whole filming the birth thing and that piece of work she got to film it was just SHOCKING. If the health of those babies came first, that film wouldn’t be here at all. Also, she says she never asked for any of this. OH REALLY? Then why are you on prime time TV just making it worse? She only brought up the ghost thing in case no one’s interested in “just” a show about screaming babies and an oblivious, insane woman. “Hmmm. Ghost hunting shows are big, maybe I can get more publicity THAT WAY.”

She never asked for any of this??? Hello, isn’t IVF “asking for it”???? This woman is certifiable; the state of California needs to sever her parental rights so these children can be put up for adoption.
That is the most insane person I have ever seen. I feel sorry for her mom. She was recalling a time she locked the poor lady in the trunk of her car and how funny it was to drive like a nut and “hear her mom’s body rolling around and hear her screaming as she would slam on the brakes and swerve erractically”. She should be in jail or a mental hospital. Thos kids do not have a chance in hell at a normal life unless they are adopted by a normal family while they are still very young. What is this nut thinking? 14 kids and no obvious means of income. What will she do when they need college money, but I doubt that will even be a issue if they are left with this nut. God Bless The Kids. Someone needs to do something fast!!!
Why was the mom stupid enough to get into the trunk to begin with? She was the mom she shouldn’t done what the daughter told her to do. I couldn’t bring myself to watch that show. She spent $10,000 (at least) for the IVF for those 8 new babies & from what I can figure shortly after that is when her & her mom stopped paying the mortgage she should have spent that money to keep a roof over her & her family’s heads instead of being selfish & having more kids she couldn’t even begin to support
Why’d her mom get in the trunk? I don’t know but I think that story shows that Nadya’s mother has a long history of letting her daughter abuse and take advantage of her. She could probably use some counseling herself so she can learn to put her foot down. However, none of that excuses what Nadya did.
That’s why the mom stopped giving her $$ – it would detract or eliminate social services payments.
I was just watching Nadya with all her babies on the bed, and the older ones running around, and Nadya said “I was thrown into this”…I don’t understand what Nadya means by this. Nadya must have know what she was headed for, with fourteen children. Also, with fourteen children, who has time to get a frinkin tatoo, or any other mom time?
Right! How can she say she was thrown into it when she had in vitro and she knew EXACTLY what she was being “thrown into”–instant celebrity.
I know! I was so shocked to see this woman going out to get a tatoo! The woman is insane and needs to be locked up! Her mom should throw her butt in the trunk and drive like a crazy person just to give her a taste of her own medicine and see if its still funny to her. And she had the audacity to say she looks better than Kate from John and kate + 8!!!! And to say Jolie is “superficial” OMG someone please commit this woman!
I did watch this (switching back and forth from the Red Sox game). I expected to see a dysfunctional mess of a mother and boy was I shocked. Nothing could have prepared me for the horror that those poor babies are in for. Her older children are a mess and this is the fate for those babies only worse because they will have the tabloids and reality tv following them. It was one of the saddist (no, not sadist) things I have seen on tv. I will say the grandmother does try to bring reality into those kids lives but in the end they are with mom. Grandpa said he will never allow dss to take the children away from nadia so he is just as sick as she is.
A taser will take care of old grandpa. Those kids need to be removed from that nut.

I think it is very irresponsible that she is able to afford a tattoo when she has s children and doesn’t have a job. She must be living in a fantasy land.
She isn’t paying for those tattoos or anything else. She has no visible income! What made me sick was when she went to look at her new home and all the renovations. She was walking around approving of all the repairs. I want to know just who did pay for this! My husband and I both work fulltime, own a home and no way in this economy could we afford to do all that work on our falling down home. Oh well, gotta get a gimmick.
The tattoo’s, and by the way every 2 wks or so she “gets her nails done”. How many of you mother’s out there get the chance to do that? Nails? Guess she didn’t care that fake nails are dirty, germy things and shouldn’t be worn right after your babies are brought home.The house was pd by her from the money she got from Dr. Phil and the rest of the nuts helping her. Majority of all renovations etc. were given to her by the makers for publicity I guess. They said it was “for the kids”.
Here’s the thing — watching this show contributes to the lunacy. Don’t. Here’s for the people who thing having litters is the way to go: stop being so self-centered. Having a gazillion babies in one pregnancy is unnatural. If you believe in “God,” stop this madness of fertility treatments and accept the fact that you’re infertile.
fox reported they did not pay nadya anything for this, they bought the already taped footage from radaronline. They did put money into an trust account for all 14 kids. Still sick but better than nadya profiting

OK, first of all Nadya probably wasn’t even infertile in the first place. Secondly, there are people who end up having multiple birth pregnancies without fertility treatments at all (a woman near my hometown gave birth to six naturally). Lastly, it’s not any more immoral to use medical treatment for infertility than it is to treat any other condition. Most people who have the treatment have money and are able to take care of the children afterward. Nadya is not the typical IVF patient. Using her to make a moral judgment against anyone needing help having a child is completely stupid.
I dont think anyone has made moral judgements against those who genuinely need help having children. Where are you getting that? Our moral judgements are against the woman who did it so she can star in her own one woman (and 14 children) show.
To Christine: RP is responding to moralityrules, who did in fact seem to say that infertile people should accept it and not have IVF. Maybe that’s not what they meant, but they did refer to other people.

Grandpa MADE Nadya this way. It’s clear her mom is just beyond fed up and she’s sick of how fake her daughter is. Also, Nadya THINKS she HAS a job. When she’s fighting out on the porch with her mom, she says, “I’M WORKING!” Delusional, lying trainwreck.
I watched the whole two hours and considering she has 14 kids I think she handles it pretty well although I think she could have picked a better house and have a more family friendly van instead of a car I think she went a little over board about her one kid who took a walk with a nanny she needs to have a better system for that also feeding and personally I wouldn’t want people who talk about giving the kids up or taking them in my house either she’s making the best of it …besides she’s made money off donations and the tv deal she inked
I watched 30 seconds of it in complete shock. She is very unstable and completely unfit to be a mother. The stste needs to step in and take those children away. They probably won’t and the results are going to be an absolute nightmare. Sad that she is allowed to profit from her insanity. Can’t wait for the crop of flakes that try to cash in.

I can’t get over her 2 year old kicking, hitting her in the face, and calling a ‘bitch’. Clearly violence has gone on in that house behind closed doors. That is not in the realm of ‘normal’, ‘well adjusted’. None of my children have ever acted like that, and especially at 2??? Big red flag. I wish they would have shown the video where she talks about biting babies herself when she was a toddler. How she would lunge at them and bite their faces until they bled, and remembering how ‘squishy’ their cheeks were. She says other parents told her Mother she was a ‘monster’….how true that turned out to be!

The Doctor that fertilzed those eggs is the one who should be condemned. Nadia believes that each embryo deserved a chance. This whole system is unnatural and wrong. Life begins at conception and we have no businesss playing God. People are encouraged to WEED out their children. Nadia’s situtation will change the laws in this field.
I think the Dr. that thought it was a good idea to implant this already single non-working mentally unstable woman should have to help support these children that he so recklessly help bring into this world! I truly believe they need to put a stop to this over implanting so these parents can make a buck off their children…IT IS SICKENING!
Yes, you should have to “weed” out some fertilized eggs when you have so many embryos in the uterus. That’s what fertility treatments include. You pay so much money that in order to ensure a couple of viable embryos, many are implanted. No one seems to get that fertility clinics are just as “culpable” of abortions as abortion clinics. No one, though, protests in front of fertility clinics — it’s an economic, not a moral issue.
The doctor is at fault? Nadia WANTED this surgery. Sure, the doctor acted irresponsibly, but SHE made the decision to breed like a rabbit. This was NEVER about how much she “loves kids” – this was always about her getting attention. She has plastic surgery on her face so she looks (NOT) like Angelina Jolie and people are still thinking there’s a sane bone in her body? This woman is nuts. Plain and simple. Her kids are victims of her narcissism. Sick, sick, sick.
Actually, they showed the better parts of the Radar Online videos. The BAD stuff they didn’t put in (www.radaronline.com). They really whitewashed this–there’s far worse on the RO site.
And if this is your opinion about what they showed on Fox, Lordy, go check out the videos! Some real hair curling stuff, including one kid SLAPPING one of the Octuplets on the head. Much worse stuff on Radar. Fox was chicken, and I’m dissapointed with them.
It’s quite common and very normal behavior for small children to react to a new born sibling by slapping, pinching, etc. They are jealous because they are no longer the center of attention and they don’t know a better way to express their feelings. Man, are you a stupid!
It’s also common for people to resort to name calling when their intellect will not allow them a more articulate way of expressing themselves.
