New 'True Blood': Sookie bites Eric, and 'I'm full of joy, I want to burn!'

The range Alexander Skarsgaard has incredible in this show! He does sly and asshole so well, but then in one hour he had me crying as well as providing easily the best bed scene the show has ever said. I know Anna and Stephen are together IRL, but I’ll be damned if the sexual tension between Sookie and Eric was not wholly palpable this past week. I want more!

Uh. Sookie seems to be re-gressing in acting ability. She’s never been good, but her sugar sweet responses to most everything and her heroine’s inclination to do-good about every moral wrong, not to mention her line delivery makes me ask myself every single episode (thus, putting me in the ranks of “watchers” so why would anyone care?) WHY do I put up with 75% pain for the 25% pleasure? Ick. LaFayette rocks, Eric is good (as was the actor in that Iraq war series that died), and Marianne is intriguing, Bill is devolving this season too in acting ability. I guess if it weren’t for Marianne’s character, I would’ve stopped watching. 08-23-09 episode was PAINFUL. All drawn out and nowhere to go but Sookie’s lit up hands. At least she was stunned silent when that happened. Maybe if Sookie and Bill weren’t humping in real life, they wouldn’t have compromised their focus on work.
