Some of you are posting that Charlaine Harris is a horrible writer yet I don’t think you’re giving the books enough credit. In my opinion the books are superbly written, in the perspective of a 25 year old uneducated southern women, the books have move detail and keep you on the edge of your seat waiting to read the next book. From the way some of your post are written I don’t think you have much room to call anyone bad writers.
I am pretty confident the bomb will go off and afterwards Eric and Sookie will exchange blood. If Alan follows the book (which is unlikely) Sookie will drink some of Eric’s blood in an attempt to save him.
After reading a majority of these comments I am glad to see that most viewers are getting bored with the Bill Sookie dynamic as well. I like seeing Sookie and Eric fight. Their chemistry is tangible.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE!!! True Blood. I cant wait for more. I know sookie likes bill hey there isnt anything wrong with that…lol..i like him but hey id take them both bill and eric. I also like sam but not as much as bill and eric but close and love godric. lol
cant wait. i heard there making season 3. hope so and hope for many many more to come
I love reading the comments on here! TB is the only show I watch and the only reason I pay for HBO (although “Bored to Death” looks promising) I love all the actors, especially Sam! I find that as the story progresses I change my mind about who I like best and some of the side characters become more interesting. I want more of Andy and Pam. Not sure what the big deal about Godric was. I am a big softy but I had not one tear or sentimental feelings for him. I found it odd that Sookie felt the need to go up there in the first place. And I can’t figure out what people see in the books. I have forced myself to read the first 2 and tried and failed twice to read the third one. Reasons I can’t stand it: 1) Sookie wears bows and whatnot in her hair (not very sexy to me) 2) Sookie wears a Christmas sweater in the winter and actually thinks that is ok. It is never a good look on anyone. 3) When Sookie learns that someone she loves is being tortured she actually says something about because she is an American it had never occurred to her that they [the vampires] would resort to torture. And lastly, all she can do is try not to laugh about the vampire hierarchy when she is confronted to the fact that someone she loves is being tortured. And Sookie lets Bill comb and braid her hair. That’s just weird and not in a good way.
