Bruce Campbell would be the only person to pull off a take on Rockford Files. I like Nathan Fillion, but I would rather see him stay on Castle, and to bring back Firefly.

No one could ever come close to James Garner, but Bruce Campbell would make a remake watchable.

Malrooney (not sure of spelling) would not even come close, but it looks like that is who they are going with. With it on NBC no one will see it since NBC can’t even tie their own shoes without falling into a wall.

stupid idea. will not go past 5 shows .they tried it with kojack, knight rider and everything inbetween.hell lets just get a tv guide from about 1966 and go down the line and remake every friggin thing in it .

Although I like Bruce Campbell I don’t think he’s right for Rockford. The only actor i think could possible pull it off is too big for the small screen – Brad Pitt. If they’re actually going to try this they need to find the perfect person to play Jimbo.

If someone like bruce campbell did it i would watch. but not some snot nosed young gun that could ruin it. honestly hollywoods been destroying all my old tv shows and movies that i cherished by remaking them. enough is enough. leave the classics alone.

Dennis Quaid as Jim Rockford would be an excellent choice.

I think rockford could come back strong, if they kept James Garner as head of The Rockford agency, or maybe as a consultant brought out of retirement. It could work with younger gumshoes doing the rough stuff. Keep in mind the Richie Brockelman relationship worked well.

Owen or Luke Wilson,Brandon Frasier,or Walton Giggns from the Shield(Shane}If NBC is going to do it they better do it with the right person.I watched that show with my father every Friday I would cast Chris Tucker as Angel and Dean Stockwell as the father of P.I. thanks papa kess
