Better Off Ted is literally the *only* show that I have watched this summer. The summer is a television wasteland. Hooray to ABC for making it worse. I had been looking forward to a new BoT. Arg.
I have a horrible feeling this show will be canceled soon. Which is crazy because it was the best new show of last year.
Yeah. They shoved The Superstars out too. My DVR showed that this was to be the finale of Superstars. Why did they do that? Everyone knew who this dumb broad picked. It was leaked all over the net.
I am kinda glad that they bumped Ted for crap since it meant that I could watch the new Warehouse 13 on SciFi (I mean Siffy) without being as torn. Had to let the DVR go in the bad economy and I am in withdrawal!!!
My brother and I were appalled at the pulling of “Better Off Ted.” Yes, “The Bachelor(ette)” draws more viewers, but ABC has made a commitment to “Better Off Ted” by renewing it for a second season. Alienating the show’s cult following, for the sake of a rerun of a reality show that originally aired THE NIGHT BEFORE, makes me think the network doesn’t care at all about “Better Off Ted” or its loyal viewers. Couldn’t they have used the two-night “Bachelorette” finale to try to draw new eyeballs to “Ted”? Wouldn’t that have been a more productive use of their reality hit? If ABC is willing to unnecessarily bump a struggling show, why should we as viewers tune in to anything ABC broadcasts?
I was thrilled. My cable went haywire last night and refused to show Fox or ABC. It would have killed me if I knew I was missing “Better Off Ted”, but since it was “The Bachelorette”, I was fine with it.

No. It didn’t air. And it was probably too late for the network to pull it off of Itunes.
I agree. Nothing disappointed me more to click on Better Off Ted to find out it was the Bachelorette. ARGH! And unlike Ken, I do have something against the Bachelorette. It’s like watching pandas mate in captivity only not as cute.
Yet another crappy reality show bumps off a much better scripted show. If people would stop watching dreck like “The Bachelorette” then maybe EW would stop taking about them and stop recapping them. I have no interest in knowing what is happening on any of these awful reality shows. Where are the recaps for scripted shows such as Burn Notice, Weeds or Nurse Jackie. Let’s face it EW has become all reality all the time.
Maybe we should start emailing ABC affiliates or just ABC, and see if we can make sure they know we were unhappy with this…

Better Off Ted is far preferable to those self-absorbed ninnies on The Bachelorette. Please, ABC, pull your head out of your tush.
Considering how ABC has treated BoT, I’ve concluded that ABC has hired the *#*!ing idiot turd who used to be at NBC and wouldn’t let us see Freaks N’ Geeks a few years ago.
