Where do we get a Susan Boyle doll? Did you see that cute little thing during Boyle’s interview with the Today show’s Meredith Vieira this morning?
Boyle said her sudden fame’s “impact is a lot like a demolition ball.” Looking pert in a short red-tinged hairdo and purple dress, Boyle was her usual impish self.
She teased Vieira about the “secrets” surrounding the album she’s recording, saying it won’t be all ballads, and that there’ll be “surprises.” (A duet with Willie Nelson, Susan?)
Boyle was matter-of-fact about her five-day stay in the Priory Mental Health Clinic for exhaustion. “It was deemed necessary,” she said simply. “I just needed a rest.”
More of Vieira’s interview with Boyle will air tonight during the 9 p.m. edition of America’s Got Talent.

Love the small interview of this morning. It included never-before-seen footage of Susan on tour, which was wonderful. I hope and pray that she never gets a computer to read the nasty comments of people like Cindi, who, to call Susan an ugly cow, must need glasses, not to mention, she needs lessons in manners, obviously lacking in her case. It’s okay that not everyone liked her. Would it surprise you to know that not everyone likes ANY performer, but keep it to yourself and just don’t buy their albums. Susan’s fans love her and love her beautiful voice, and her managers KNOW that. After all she’s been through in her life, she deserves every good thing that is now happening to her. Can’t wait to see rest of interview tonight.

She looks terrific. Look what a good haircut and a little makeup can do. Loved the bit of “Isn’t She Lovely” with the doll. Her voice is so mellow and effortless. Some other poster said, “Susan’s singing is like comfort food.” Right, just makes you feel good. The three bile-spewing trolls who have posted here should return to torturing small animals, their other recreation, I’m sure.

Seeing fat Amricans in every direction, I can’t see how Cindi and those other Susan-haters can call her a cow. She is a delight. She speaks well and with humor. I’m 88 but I would still like a Susan doll as well as any recordings she makes.

I loved that interview. Susan is looking happy and realxed, and to quote one of the UK reporters pretty darned hot. She has a beautiful soul which is more than be said for cindi and her friend who posted earlier. I am really looking forward to the album, and know it will go to number one. Susan is brilliant. She is funny and humble and only wants to sing, her lack of guile is totally refreshing in todays plastic manufactured industry. She has heart and soul, its like watching a butterfly emerge, and I want one of thsoe dolls too LOL
What a breath of fresh air this SuBo is!! Everyone needs to take a good hard look at themselves in the mirrow–and ask themselves just (How pretty or handsome am I & could I ever achieve what this lady has in my lifetime) The answer is probably not. Let us fimally listen to someone who can sing & you can understand every word & know that it indeed comes from her heart. More power to her.

The Today Show is part news and part entertainment and I loved their interview with Susan Boyle today. I wish Susan all the best and was happy to see her looking so well. I probably wouldn’t buy the doll but I will buy every CD she makes. Can’t wait to watch the other two segments of the interview.
Susan Boyle is a fine singer, and if I heard her in a karaoke bar or singing a solo in a local chorus I’d probably think she was lovely, but, she is NOT a great singer.
She’s only famous because her good voice is combined with that disastrous face and frumpy body. We all get to think we’re better people for liking her. Like we can somehow atone, as a society, for allowing people like Britney Spears to become famous if we just root for Susan Boyle.
There are other not-so-pretty woman with GREAT voices. I will cheer for them, and I’ll be cheering for their talent, not their dowdiness.

Susan Boyle is a refreshing addition to entertainment to-day. I am so Happy for her,and I have tears in my eyes to see someone get the recognition that this kind of talent gets the recognition it deserves.I couldn,t get mine[as a performer]and I am excited for those who do!!! There is no such diagnosis as “exhaustion”. No doubt she experienced a panic attack, which is harmless. I thought her 15 minutes were up a few weeks ago.

She has a beautiful, refreshing voice but really, what did she need a rest from??? Exhaustion is not a medical diagnosis. Good grief!!!
