There are multiple actors and actresses on “Lost” that deserve attention. Any of the following, if not included, would be snubs in my eyes:
-Matthew Fox
-Evangeline Lilly
-Josh Holloway
-Terry O’ Quinn
-Michael Emerson
-Elizabeth Mitchell
Echoing the predicted but highly unfair snubs of Friday Night Lights and its cast. Even though I’m expecting it, it’s still going to leave me devastated. Also rooting but not expecting anything for Better Off Ted.
However, I do have a good feeling that Jim Parsons will be nominated for BBT. Fingers crossed!
Zach Braff is a lock when he’s barely been nominated in the past? There is an assumption that “New Adventures of Old Christine” will be nominated when it was never nominated in this category before? Willian Shatner is suddenly a lead actor when he’s always supporting? “Maybe” Glen Close when she’s certainly a lock? Wow, this wasn’t written by an emmy expert.
Josh Holloway isn’t running in the Lead Actor category. I think he’s a sure thing for a Best Supporting Actor nom.
Um Big Bang Theory and HIMYM both need to be nominated. Seriously BBT is so funny it brings tears to my eyes and while this season of HIMYM wasn’t the best NPH was awesome and deserves a nod for his wonderful portrayal of tortured man-slut Barney.
battlestar galactica was the best show on air last season, foolowed by the shield.but since the emmy’s never got to the wire,i guess anything for these two shows will never happen.long live boston legal!(joking)
Friday Night Lights, for sure. Snubbed every season, it deserves some nominations this year
Michael Emerson had a great season on Lost and I would love to see Jenna Fischer snag a supporting actress nod for The Office.
I am so glad you mentioned Sunny in Philadelphia. Everyone on that show needs to be nominated.
I will be sooooooo happy if the following get nominations:
Sigourney Weaver – Actress in Movie
Jim Parsons – Actor in Comedy Series
Jeremy Davies – S. Actor in Drama Series
Chloe Sivigney – S. Actress in Drama Series
Christine Baranski – Guest Actress in Comedy Series for “Big Bang Theory”
Jill Scott – Actress in a Drama Series
Eastbound & Down is just awful, and McBride better not be nominated. He’s the same guy in that show as he is in every movie he’s in. That’s hardly acting.
James Noble – Fringe for best dramatic supporting actor!
Terry O’Quin, Michael Emerson and Jeremy Davies should be the only ones nominated from “Lost” – Maybe Yunjin Kim.
I’d love for “Old Christine” to be nominated, but why the heck do you think it’s a lock? There’s no way it’ll be nominated.
And “a bunch of Desperate Housewives” will be nominated? In what universe? The 3 ladies haven’t all been nominated since season 1, and Huffman has only grabbed one additional nom.
graeme – exactly right!!!
