im not sure whats with all the haters… this is as some have mentioned in previous reviews meant to be a fantasy escapist show. its not mad men, its not the wire. Its light fun and easy on the eyes. take it for what it is folks. Half hour well spent. If you dont like it dont watch it. That said, cant wait for the enzo movie to start shooting since I love ferraris even more than entourage! Also doug ellin did say (if anyone bothered to watch the little hype building spot on hbo) this is gonna be a light and fun season. I look forward to clever scripting, pretty women and nice cars. Thats why I watch the show.

i would disagree that all the excitement revolved outside of the entourage crew. i mean ari has always been a an exciting character with usually the best lines outside of usually entourage crew, drama holds that title within the entourage crew and the premiere made no exception to that rule when told turtle with a straight face that he could still drive him around while at the leno show. and erics deal with moving out to get used to live on his own as a successful business man is a developing story line

I enjoyed the first episode. Though truthfully it didn’t make me laugh as much as many other episodes, it worked as a start to a new season. Besides, we are judging on one episode, any show can have an off episode. But still looking to see an improvement.

very disappointed with the first show I asked my husband if they got new writers. LOVE the show, was really looking forward to it and now it seems the guys have bad timing and cheesy lines… what happened?

This was the first episode I’ve ever seen, and I was pretty disappointed. I’ve heard such great things about it, and so many people are such devoted fans, but after watching I just couldn’t get how anyone could like it so much. It’s nice to know that it was just a boring episode. I did think the bit about him starring in a Scorsese directed Gatsby was pretty inspired. I can see how it could be a pretty sly comedy, if it were to try a little harder.

I watch this show because there is NOTHING ELSE on all week. Otherwise, I would not watch. Tivo helps this show tremendously as you can fast forward through everyone except Ari and Lloyd. It looks like Piven, E and Lloyd have been at the Sizzler like every day. Shouldn’t there be a fat clause in their contracts? It’s sad when Turtle is better looking than most of the cast. Vince is still BO-ring and Drama is stale. I may have to start reading on Sundays. Waiting anxiously for Mad Men.

This show is suffering from “Oceans 12″ syndrome. George Clooney and the other actors have admitted that they were too close and had too good of a time making it that it hurt the end product. “Entourage” has become lazy and smug. The constant self satisfied smirks on the actors faces point to the fact that they are friends in real life and are having a blast making the show, but it’s hurt the product they’ve put out. There is no real sense of plot, drama, or tension. I guess we should all get used to the fact that it will continue to be a semi-amusing show that will generally keep our attention but we shouldn’t expect anything great from it.
