Waggling his posterior and shot from the waist-up, Elvis-on-Ed Sullivan-style, Bruno delivered a rather randy Top 10 List last night.
In case you were wondering why Sacha Baron Cohen agreed to appear on Wednesday night’s Late Show as himself and not, as he usually does on publicity tours, in-character as Bruno, here’s the probable explanation: Cohen got a double-shot of publicity by returning last night (or taping the night before?) to deliver the Top 10 List:
“You look fantastic!” murmured Dave into Bruno/Cohen’s ear at the end of the bit.

They were two memorable appearances. I love when Paul and the band played “Careless Whisper” the first night and Sasha asked why and Paul said he just felt it was right. Then tbey repeated it again when Bruno came out for the Top 10. But it was really great just seeing Sasha Baron Cohen be himself.

I will definitely see the movie, I’m just not sure if I should wait for the DVD or see it in theaters.
this was nothing compared to his appearance on conan, with a strip tease, pulling conan’s face into his crotch, etc.
What’s “uncomfortable” is Sacha’s increasing desperation to earn a laugh, in any way possible. His “shock-and-awful” style has gotten VERY old. I will say he’s done something most thought impossible: when it comes to obnoxious comedy, he’s surpassed Carrot Top.
i laughed, and I too am getting tired of the constant barrage of coverage he’s getting…but I still found it amusing…dunno if it’ll get me to see his movie this time, tho…I thought Borat was hilarious, so maybe…
Will people please stop giving this guy money. He makes Carrot Top seem tolerable. His “Character” is getting very old.
Funny, but it reminds me of the times Dave had Richard Simmons on the show. Chasing Simmons around with a fire extinguisher was funnier.
