Craig Ferguson, Duran Duran, and Grandmaster Flash: Does Les Moonves know what's going on on the 'Late Late Show'?

Categories: TV Last Night

Last night, Craig Ferguson reverted back to his would-be pop-star days, with a get-down, get-funky lip-synch to Duran Duran’s cover of the Grandmaster Flash hit, “White Lines”:

Really, what more is there to say, other than, contra Flash, “Do it!”

LOVE CRAIG!!! So freakin random! I think Moonves is like 30 Rock’s version of Moonvest, crazy and wanting people’s fingernails.

I hope the CBS powers that be don’t ever attempt to curtail the awesome randomness that is the Ferguson.

i love Craig and his show…the puppets rule, I’m so glad he brings them back…I watch him every night…and I hope he’s the heir apparent to Dave when they finally move Dave to 10pm…heh…

Craig Ferguson is the funniest person on late night television. I always look forward to what crazy thing will happen next on his show. I hope Les Moonves doesn’t know what is going on and the craziness (and fun) continues.

Love Craig! I’m sure Julie Chen will put in a good word for him just in case her husband is not aware of Craig’s awesomeness.

Craig’s genius at half the budget of the Jimmys should please Les Moonves.

    Fantastic!
Highly under rated cover version too, and Craig and Co really took it to a new level.

    Craig Rocks!

There is no one funnier than Craig on TV today, and certainly no one more clever. Love him!

CBS, you have a REAL gem on your hands with Craig Ferguson! He makes you even better, brings class and humor, and get this: he makes us viewers want to tune in every night.
Can’t say that about anyone else. . .
    Thumbs up!

He’s good but sometimes I can’t understand what he is saying.
    Letterman is my guy.

The thing that makes Ferguson so special is that he’s fearless. CBS probably thought he’d use those few minutes before the show’s opening to tease the viewers with a few jokes and that’d be it. Instead, he’s made it into a must watch segment.
Puppets and lip-syncing? On paper it sounds like a lame idea and yet when Ferguson does it, it’s pure genius. Beats the hell out of licking things for 10 bucks.

That man make me sweat, he so fine. White lines!

I’m surprised Les Moonves and CBS have any idea who Craig Ferguson is! Since they don’t advertise this show! Ferguson is the funniest in late night. The most unique talk show host on T.V. today! Wake up CBS!
