I just wanted to add how it is insulting to performers in the arts to have a writer for EW state “A dance act called FootworKINGZ that was easily better than the winner of Britain’s Got Talent, Diversity.” You obviously do not have a clue about dance and would probably defend yourself by stating that it is your opinion. But, it is ignorant writers that give the public the wrong idea on what good dance is. Please, just stop writing.
I have to say, that tears were definitely in my eyes when Voices of Glory performed. I saw a star in that little girl and I really do think that no matter what this shows outcome is that this is not the last we’ll see of her. Her older brothers were very good as well. But, she really showed that “star” in the making quality.
If anything else, this show gives hope to those that never got a chance. It gives those few performers even just 15 minutes of fame and more importantly recognition and respect for their talent.
Of course, I favor more the passionate traditional talents but sometimes I’m even surprised to fall in love with a ventriloquist whose thrown voice of Etta James is even surpassed any covers of that famous song “At Last”.
I love being surprised by talent and I love seeing so many people out there that would dare be on that stage that can be both bitterly cruel and wonderfully rewarding.
