People just shouldn’t have kids period. There, I said it. (Okay, I’m kind of joking.) But no, I don’t really agree that Kate should “get a job”. Who will take care of the kids if she’s working? It doesn’t make financial sense. Maybe when the kids are all in school, but not yet.
It seems ridiculously simple. Kick out the TV crew and save your family.
These kids won’t grow up to say, “Thanks for getting divorced Mommy and Daddy! Now we can have Child-Star-Syndrome too!”
I think Elizabeth needs to “get a BRAIN”!. She’s criticizing someone for making a living, being on TV?!? Umm, HELLO!! Your ‘job’ involves spending an hour a day on TV. While I don’t think Jon & Kate should continue the show any longer, they’ve provided a good home and plenty of other things for their kids, through the show.
Hey, it’s been cemented by this web site that Elisabeth Hassleback is an authority on all things. I think we should give her the benefit of the doubt on this. If she says that having a tv show or being on one is not a real job than by god Kate should get a job. I mean, what’s Kate waiting for? The edict has been thrown down by the pope of retard town, let’s get a move on.
Personally I can’t wait for the response from the heretic known as Kate. I assume this will be played out on sites like this and somehow these two twits will actually be cast against one another. What an injustice for the irrational and brain dead crowd. I mean who do they pick. Maybe it will be a Jennifer/Angelina thing all over again. Can we get t-shirts?

Jon was passive for too long and Kate was overbearing. I wish they would take a cool off period instead of filing for divorce. It makes me think that when they did the wedding in Hawaii there was already trouble in paradise and someone must have thought that would help. Step back, take a deep breath and remember why you married one another in the first place. On the show last night parent kept saying what is best for me and my kids instead of our kids. It will always be Jon & Kate plus eight because the will always be the parents. Wake up before you make a bigger mistake!
I am done. I will never watch the show again… I am so tired of Elisabeth’s stupid political views and everything is black or white in her world that this is it. Most of us live in a world with a lot of grey. Those babies are losing everything and that is what should worry everyone. Kate does have a job and she does not put her backward slant on life down everyone’s throat. They (The View) should have gotten rid of you a long long time ago. Shut-up and listen once in a while.

Can’t believe that she would say such a thing. They just decided to divorce, and to get a job!!!! Does she know how tough it is to leave your kids when you work???? Oh wait no,as she brings her kids to work. I used to like her but after this comment I do not like her judgemental attitude. Nto everything is so black and white as she seems to think it is. Keep your judgmental comments to yourself or course the shoe would be on the the other foot if they were commenting on her life like they do Jon and Kate’s.
I for one cannot stand Elizabeth but for once I do agree with her. Kate and Jon BOTH should get jobs. At least something part-time for Kate. She is the most self-centered control freak I have ever seen. She makes most of the people I know who I thought were control freaks look like kittens. Glad Jon finally woke up!!!
I have seen the show a few times and honestly was appauled how John was treated by his wife her attitude and tone of voice with him was always so disrepectful, that is a bad example for those beautiful kids. Im not one bit surprised they are getting divorced. They both need to look at their choices they have made. Do whats best for those kids
I was reading through the comments after reading Elizabeths latest attempt at judgement. I am not a fan of the show but I am a fan of telling it like it is. I think Kate should find other means of employment if that’s her intent. But Elizabeth please stop throwing stones. How did you get your name out there. Wasn’t it through Reality TV. How soon we forget from once we came. Save the remarks or someone may dig up some less than favorable moments in your life. Just keeping it real…

I actually agree with Elisabeth Hasselbeck. I know, I know. It leaves a bad taste in my mouth, but she is right in this case. I am SO sick of hearing about these people I can’t stand it. Who cares?! There is so much more going on in the world.
I used to watch the show because I thought the kids were so adorable but I couldn’t stand Kate. She is a controlling, my way or hit the highway woman. She was/is a total turnoff. I stopped watching because of her before all this latest stuff started. I will not watch again. I feel bad for the kids.
