Triumph the Insult Comic Dog invades Bonnaroo, meets 'thousands of pungent hippies'

Categories: TV Last Night

Triumph the Insult Comic Dog made a triumphant appearance on The Tonight Show last night, in a taped segment filmed at the Bonnaroo music festival. Triumph among, as he put it, “thousands of pungent hippies,” is pure, rude bliss. Check it out:

When you crack up both TV On The Radio and Bruce Springsteen, you must be doing something right, eh?

Max running out of the tent naked was pure gold. I hate how Andy has been more focused than Max since the move to LA.

Smigel’s great. Actually, he wasn’t so rude on these folks. I enjoyed it.

I never get tired of Triumph. More please.

I also hate how andy has been more of a focus than MAx. Andy isn’t funny and when he was on conan before it made the show lame. Also the studio is way too impersonal.

I also agree in which i hate andy being more of a focus than Max. Max has been loyal over the yars and is much funnier than andy. I also think the studio is very impersonal unlike Leno’s which had the audience right there with him.

Please. Max is great, but dont trash Andy for trying to have his own career. Were you disloyal when you quit your burger flipping job after you got a college degree? By your logic, no one should ever outgrow their first job or try to change careers.
After all, Max is first of all a drummer for Bruce, second for Conan. He leaves for tour all the time. Anyone else remember long stints of Jimmy Levigne and the Max Weinberg Seven? I do.
