I think all the chefs have come off remarkably well. Although I was cheering for Wylie Dufesne and Christopher Lee, last week, as their charity is close to my heart- Autism Speaks. The host is terrible. She is worse than Katie Joel from Season 1, remember that?
So far I love the show and the chefs have been great. I was cheering for Wylie and Christopher last week, as they were playing for a charity close to my heart- Autism Speaks. The host is terrible- worse that Katie Joel from Season 1- remember that?
Love this show. Really hoped Elizabeth Faulkner would win. I’ve seen her on other food shows and she has a great attitude.
I don’t think Kelli is that bad. When I first saw Padma on Top Chef, I wondered why she talked like she had marbles in her mouth. Now I’m used to it so I don’t notice so much. I think Kelli at least speaks more clearly than Padma, and she’s definitely a huge improvement over Katie Lee Joel from Top Chef season one.
I am so loving this show! It’s all in great fun. My only gripe, and it’s a small one, is that if the hostess has a personality, the producers should really let it show because she is boring.
I like both versions of TC but would love to see Tom C be a competing chef. I also don’t care for the hostess – too blah…
I thought the show was terrific and I laughed a lot. I especially enjoyed food critic Jay, saying Suzanne’s plate showed “a generosity of spirit”,very kind, indeed.
I think Graham (Elliot, to me) and Wylie were a hoot and Elizabeth has a lot of spunk. Oh, should I say that I am Elliot’s Mother? Naturally I think his food is awesome, but his ability to make me laugh with his incredible personalilty is equally amazing.
I love the show. I think it would be fantastic if Tom Collichio competed. Or even Gail so they could see what it is like on the other side of the judges table. The hostess really needs to eat, she does look quite anorexic and her head is way too big for her body.
I like this show a lot. I would love to see Tom Collichio compete or even Gail so they could see what it s like on the other side of the judges table. The hostess however does give me the creeps. She looks anorexic and her head is way out of proportion to her body. I got an idea, why not bring in a hot male host. Maybe Sam from season 2?
I’m enjoying the show a lot, but I was not pulling for Suzanne. Could she have been more humorless? I found her downright depressing.
I’m liking the Masters version so far, but I LOVE the original version of up-and-coming chefs and I hope that they return to it. But, it’s awesome that Bravo is taking the opportunity to raise money and awareness for charities, so I say every other season should be a Master’s version.
It’s just not the same without Padma. There seems to be a distinct lack of chemistry between anyone on this version, whereas I Tom and Padma complement each other well. I also think lack of chemistry is a problem with the judges on The Fashion Show.
i do like it. not in place of my beloved top chef original recipe, but as a summer filler, it’s great!
