I got spanked, my parents got spanked and their parents before them got spanked. It’s not that serious. It’s sometimes the only way a kid will get it. It’s not like she’s punching her kids in the face. Telling your kids to shut up isn’t that serious either. Kids need discipline. If not we get these spoiled lazy rich kids who never understand consequences of the things that they do. Get over it. This isn’t even a story

I am not a supporter of spanking. But if Kate needs to spank (not abuse)the go for it. A couple of the kids need a gentle spanking sometimes.

Please It is her child, and I find nothing wrong in spanking her child. I have 3 grown daughters, and they were spanked, they all became great adults, not affected by spanking. I wish the media would focus on more important events. Kate has the right to dicipline her kids as she sees fit in her home, we don’t know what her frustration levels are, not for us to judge, as we have all been there!

There is nothing wrong with spanking your child. Of course within reason, sometimes a little sting to the tush gets your mommy/daddy voice heard and is needed. A child needs to learn action vs. consequence. Some situations could threaten the well being of a child and if they are accustomed to ignoring the parent bad things can happen. So many times I’ve witnessed a parents empty threats and the child knows exactly that is what they are. Then sent up to their toy ladened room as punishment…ooh, that’ll teach ‘em. I’m not sure if I personally would have spanked my child for repeated blowing a whistle, but I’m not a mother of 8. I would have grabbed the toy from thier hands and thrown it away, then employ the time out tactics while they threw their fit…but, that’s just me.
yaahhh Kate, people on showbiz just want to say something to earn money eventhough its nonesense already….They dont care about others life, they just want money money money… Your a smart and good mother and obviously you love your kids and its normal to discipline them; My parents used to spanked me when I was a kid. But I am proud of them, They love me and they are a good parents their just want to discipline me and look at me now I am strong person don’t smoke don’t drink and don’t easily get influence by friends. Your smart person that you know your limitation and as a parents your their to guide them and giving your kids little bit spankin is not bad at all…People are just to exagerated… I love your show..

I THINK THAT THERE JUST MAKING A HUG SEEN OF IT BECAUSE SHE HAS HER OWN SHOW BUT IF IT WHERE ANY OTHER AVERAGE JOE THEY WOULDNT CARE. SO YES I DO THINK PEOPLE SHOULD GIVE HER A BRACK.
Kids have to be disciplined. Spanking and punishing is a good way to discipline a child. Grounding them in their room, putting them in the corner and even putting them to write lines will do.
i don’t get it what IS th big deal bout this its displine like the corner. but they out grown that so its a spank no big deal.
