THRILLED! Lafayette still with us, but PLEASE!! could you dress ERIC as the powerful HOT vampire he’s supposed to be?? The wife-beaters & jeans just arent getting us there.

True Blood-love it! Anyway, everyone wondering about Eric’s hair, it was pretty obvious to me that it was silver being used to cut his hair. The teaser for next week had him with short hair and vampires can’t just cut their hair with scissors. Also loved the scenes with Bill, hot hot hot!!! I too am sick of Jason and I am getting sick of Tara. I have only read the first book and thought the show was way better. I will probably read the rest though.

  • Team Bill

I love it!! Alan Ball keep doing what you are doing!
Read the books and I’m glad he is not going in the same direction.
Love the southern gentleman vampire Bill and Bill/Sookie story lines!!
    Team Bill all the way……

Ok… I read ALL the books! Some even more than once. LOVE THEM! LOVE ERIC! Even though the show does not follow the books exactly … I still LOVE the show. That Eric does it for me! Love who they picked for ERIC! And I am so excited to hear we will be seeing more of him.

I’m extremely excited for this season of True Blood! It reminded me how exciting vampire stories can be UNLIKE twilight. I have to agree with most that Sookies character can be so freaking annoying and if anyone is listening, PLEASE tone down her self-righteous moody personality, it kills the good vibe I have through every other scene. I cannot WAIT for the next episodes and I’m about to go scope out these books. I need more more more True Blood!

As a fan of the books, I can say that I don’t want Sookie to end up with either Erik or Bill. There is another character that comes around in the 4th or 5th book. All I can say is I like tigers!!!

OMG True Blood Season Two off to a hot start. Read the books, and I like what Allan Ball is doing with the story lines. Charlaine invented interested characters but definitely needed fleshing out more. Can’t wait to see what happens. DVR set for Sunday nights at 9pm. Eric or Bill its all good to me. It was great to see Lafayette back for season 2. It sounds like he going to be back for awhile according to interview with Nelsan Ellis. 3 more nights and 15 minutes until TB@2.

Love the show! I saw the first season, then read the first 8 books while it was on hiatus. So glad Lafayette isn’t dead. Despite the fact that I know Maryann’s sinister intentions, I couldn’t help but do a little cheer when she told Tara’s mother off. Looks like it’s going to be another amazing season.

Loved that Lafayette is still alive! Was it my imagination, or had Eric just had his hair frosted as he entered the dungeon? (weren’t those foil papers in his hair?)

I’m addicted to this show. I haven’t read the books, but I love this story line. The characters are extremely colorful and entertaining. I’m also glad Lafayette is still alive. He cracks me up. Alan Ball does a nice job interjecting humor into this drama. Now for those of of you who can’t stomach the love scenes I say… turn the channel. It’s part of why I’m so addicted to the show. It’s part of the fantasy and vampires have always had a sexual nature. Bring it on! This is for adults right?

I don’t agree with you about Anna Paquin’s portrayal of Sookie Stackhouse. In a world infested with vampires, I enjoy her performance and think she propels the show forward with her well, humanity. As to her whining, one cannot fault the actress if ‘whining’ was what Alan Ball wrote for her. You have to remember, Anna Paquin is an award-winning actress. I think she makes the right decisions with her Sookie portrayal, and I find it very believable.

I Loved that Lafayette is BACK!!! He was one of the best characters last season! I literally cried when I thought they had killed him off!! I wrote blogs talking about saving him. I would like to see Eric not only dress the part better, but actually show us a vampire side that Bill’s character can never go to!

  • Lin

The season opener was alright, but was saved by the performance of Alexander Skarsgard. He is truly a rare talent and envelopes the essence of Eric. Can’t wait for more!!
