I’m SO sad it ended, but if it had to, Im happy with the way they did it.
Will miss the show so much. The final episode was example of how charming, funny, thoughtful and emotional the show was. It was a hasty but well done wrapup. Yeah, we don’t need that. Give us more reality shows please, everyone in the world hasn’t had the chance to make a jerk of themselves on the TV.
This show should have been on cable…then we still would have it and the world would be a better and more colorful place. Sad is right! It is one of those blunders we will be lamenting for a long time. Chenoweth and Chi….they should get a Duo Emmy.
Nothing on tv looks like it or sounds like it and I guess that’s why it is gone. It was an eye popping, verbose explosion that was for the few. I am so sorry to see the end of it.
I can’t blame ABC for hemorrhaging money over this show. It’s one of those unfortunate truths I’m afraid – something sweet, whimsical, charming, intelligent, and different can’t survive. While shows like “According to JIm” thrive for 10 years??? sigh… Maybe Obama can fix that while he’s at it
I am truely saddened to see our families favorite show gone. If ABC wants more viewers than they need to stick to quality tv vs. reality tv. If viewers think “reality” shows are as or even more entertaining than well written shows, like PD, then they need to get a life. Bring PD back!!!! If ABC won’t bring them back then it should come back on USA Channel. They have other shows that are entertaining and smart like PD(Monk, Psych).
It’s so sad that Pushing Daisies is gone
Such a good show and I miss it already. At least I can buy the DVDs and watch the 22 episodes over and over again! Though that’s not really better than getting to see new episodes.
Lovely show, such a shame more people don’t have the good taste to watch it. Hated the speedy, tacked-on wrap up. I appreciated the effort, but it didn’t fit with the timbre of the show.
Oh, by the way, the aunts didn’t go to the Aquacade to see the Aqua Dolls. They went to celebrate Chuck’s Half-Birthday and found out the Aqua Dolls were performing after they arrived.
My husband and I were so disappointed over the cancellation of this show. We enjoyed the colorful sets, costumes, clever writing, and the magnificent characters. I guess that’s not what people want to see anymore. What a loss.
Is anyone organizing the write-in campaign or something to try to salvage this show? Perhaps another network can grab it (a la Scrubs)? Or, perhaps the Disney Empire can see it in their heart to move it to another channel (like ABC Family)? This is one of those rare shows that should be saved. It’s always fun to watch.
Cross your fingers for the comics, guys! The deals have been inked, but not set in stone!
But I agree it will never be the same as watching the actors that we came to love over these wonderful two seasons. So don’t rest in peace, PD. Feel free to rise from your grave anytime and take down a more un-derserving show in your place:)
I MISSED IT!
I’m SOOOOOOO ticked off about it too!
I loved Pushing Daisies. for once it was a show with creative and wit writing.
I wish someone can pick up the show.
Soon their will be more shows with no class and no content.
What will it take for ABC to revive this AMAZING show!! Money? viewers? It’s so good, it doesn’t make sense that they canceled it.
