John B, like your namesake, you’re full of crap. How can five-year-old kids possibly be basking in the attention of their mother never being home, their father being photographed at bars with other women, their aunt and uncle pointing out that the kids are being exploited and making waves in the child-labor law debate? All the kids are under the age of 9. They have no idea what’s going on, just that the cameras keep following them around when most of them would rather be alone and acting like the kids they are. And, again, they were never asked to have their potty training aired, never asked that their mother go on a book tour, or that their father go half a continent away from them instead of fighting for a solution for his marriage problems. We’re watching the disintegration of a marriage. If you’re suggesting the kids are loving every minute of that, you’re nuts.

I like the Kate Eight and I hope they carry on as long as they are still having fun with it. I am happy for all their perks and paid-for adventures! Good for them!
Have to agree with Colin 100%.
I really do think Jon and Kate can save their marriage and their family, but THEY are the ones that have to do it. A family of 10 requires a huge amount of work- as a team of 2, let alone as two teams of one. For your sake, as well as the family stop this carnival- money isn’t worth it. You loved each other once upon a time- didn”t you?

she doing what she needs to do to keep the bills paid at the end of the day the kids have to be taking care of .
I’m wondering how many viewers who enjoyed the first season will tune out as it feels like watching a very wealthy family with a lot of big toys, great clothes, vacations, etc. There just aren’t that many real-life families in today’s economy who can relate to anything that these reality stars who do nothing on a small scale any longer. It’s forced, shallow and just plain sad.

This show has become a disgrace and in the interest of the the children, it should be shut down. If you agree, express your opinion directly to TLC at the following address: http://corporate.discovery.com/contact/viewer-relations/

And shame on Jon skiing with his girlfriend. What ever happened to skiing with your own kids?
Kathyrn,
That’s worse than Kate playing “beach bunny” with her bodyguard???
I agree, but maybe if Jon stopped seeing girlfriends then kate would not pay attention to a bodyguard. At least she had the kids. He just had his girlfriend.
