Our DVR is programmed to record new episodes, so Friday’s won’t be a problem
Loved the show,I watched the last episode by myself and then again with my husband(after telling how good it was)The end was a shock to me. I love Regina King’s character and Sammy.
I am amazed how good the acting is on this show! I agree that the season seemed way too short. I’m hoping this show gets noticed more in the future and becomes a main-stay because the writing is excellent!
Just got done watching the season finale and my thought was, I cant wait until the next episode this Thursday! Man, that was a great season!! Can’t wait for the next season!
I watch it with my sister and our spouses and when Tom E Scott got shot, the whole room cheered. He’s our only complaint. He overacts even when he’s just looking at someone. The show is great and will be better if he’s not there next season. What a finale.
I just saw the finale and this is the first episode I have seen of Southland. All I can say is that I will definitely be watching next season!
Friday nights? Tough night for scripted TV. Even though “Homicide: Life On The Streets” — another critically acclaimed cop show on NBC — lasted a more than respectable 7 seasons in that timeslot, there weren’t a whole lot of people watching. This new Leno experiment is supposed to be a gamechanger in primetime, but I fear that it may be a game-ender for a fine show such as “Southland”. In my humble opinion, Monday night after Heroes would be better.

This season finale was such an adrenaline rush. That shoot out between Lydia and the gang was absolutely awesome! i personally would like to see more of Ben. I can’t wait for the next season.
This show soo takes me back to Boomtown. Please help keep Southland on the air.
I think this is the best cop show on TV today. We really need to keep this show on the air. The cast and writing is excellent. Finale kept me on edge the entire hour.
i finally got caught up on the full season on my dvr. LOVED it. but unfortunately nbc will probably screw it up like they did with friday night lights.
