Glenn Beck was a guest on The View this morning. In one of the more odd explosive moments in the history of the show, this blow-up did not involve Elizabeth Hasselbeck. Instead, Barbara Walters and Whoopi Goldberg were gravely offended by what Whoopi termed "lies" about a Beck radio-show account of a recent Amtrak train ride he (and they) took. (Whoopi’s actual phrase was that Beck is "a lying sack o’ dog mess.") Beck felt he’d been pushed aside by Amtrak employees catering to Whoopi and Barbara. The View women disagreed, quite vehemently:
It’s almost difficult to tell who to side with in this disagreement. But it’s pretty fascinating to see Whoopi call Beck a liar and then give him the stony silent treatment.

I watched, and found the whole thing completely ridiculous! I don’t understand these women, instead of focusing on real issues and “Hot Topics” they want to have a verbal tirade to a guest just for telling a story and not talk about oh I don’t know the economy and other relevant issues that Mr. Beck discusses on his show. Please, these women need to get back to reality.
Cmon, Tucker, the worst loudmouth on this show of loudmouths is by far Joy Behar. Hasselbeck just goes after Behar when Behar goes all attack dog liberal on conservatives. If Whoopi and Barbara Wawa got angry, it was just because they didn’t get their Metamucil in time for the show.

Why would anyone other than Obama who they treated like god go on this show. They have to know their being set up. What is it ego? Now wonder Republicans lost the election with people like this arguing for them. They keep charging into that stone wall, get up and charge again like the 3 stooges.
I watched only because Glenn Beck was going to on it. I don’t watch The View because they never let anyone get a word in!! They ask questions but then interrupt constantly and talk over each other. It gets so annoying. They never let Glenn finish his story or ask the questions that were asked to him. And as for Glenn lying…he didn’t lie…he just told a story that was told to him by the Amtrak employee. And of course they never let him fully express his thoughts. Can’t believe this show is still on the air.
I agree…lame, lame, lame. I thought the fireworks would be over something substantial but instead it’s just a bunch of rambling. I think the intelligent discussion over relevant topics left this show when Rosie left.

They use this rationale that “The View” gives them the right to be so ignorant, arrogant and insidious.

I think this is just another example of the ladies not allowing the opinion of others to be heard. It smells like fear to me. I suggest that you watch the Glenn Beck show for yourself and then decide, make your own decision. FOX at 4:00 EST. It’s worth your time. He raises issues that you will not see on MSNBC or CNN.
I suggest that after watching Beck on Fox at 5pm EDT, or 5pm EST in the winter, when he is actually on, you can tune in to Countdown with Keith Olberman on MSNBC at 8pm and watch proof that Beck is a liar who makes things up. Go ahead, skip O’Reilly and watch Olberman and you will see that Glenn Beck lies and makes things up to suit whatever he is trying to convince people of that night.
