Morley was a bored and a brute. I searched his name and Vogue hoping to find others bashing him for his uninterested if not out right rude interview of the fashion legend.
Okay, I’ll admit, I don’t read fashion magazines and I really didn’t even know who this gal was until last night’s episode. So, it was interesting getting to know this person but at the same time what seemed like Morley’s contempt for her really was distracting. I agree with another commenter, Morley had no interest in fashion or the lady he was interviewing. They kept trying to make her look aloof with the super close-ups. It reminded me of how poorly Couric handled the interview with Al Pacino. The guy interviewing the troops in the bomb squad piece was also terrible, he looked bored when asking the commander about the war and his men. 60 minutes definitely needs a revamp in its staff. I would have way preferred Anderson Cooper to do the iraq and vogue stories.
