As I struggle with my own illness and pain, tonight I was given an example on how to fight with grace. I realize my times of complaining and moments of unhappiness are a choice I make. I can only hope and pray that God will grant me even a small portion of the grace, hope and love Farrahs life examples each day. I know that when the time comes and She appears before the Lord, He will say to her “Well done my good and faithful servant”, “well done.”
Thank you and may God bless you Farrah, Ryan, Red and all who call her friend…I guess that includes me now. Well done Friend. Well done.

Her last words: What are you fighting
    for?
Really, are you just pissing your life away, or are you fighting for something worthwhile?
I’m involved in a fight that involves
    another Hollywood celebrity (director)
    who passed on: Aaron Russo.
    Please watch his last documentary:
From Freedom to Fascism online for free. America is facing difficult
times, and Russo met with one of the
most powerful people in the world,
one of the Rockefellers, and learned
the truth. But knowledge is power,
and we will win this fight.
Say a prayer for Farrah and watch
    From Freedom to Fascism….

I was diagnosed with anal cancer almost seven years ago. The initial treatments are unbelievably painful. You have no idea. As far as I know I am currently cancer free, of course treatment in this country is based on two words “cost effective” so I haven’t had a scan since I was two years out of treatment. I also would have much preferred immunotherapy and did my own supplements during treatment. The two important points she made are lack of information and research on many forms of cancer, and the American insistence on barbaric treatments long abandoned in other countries which have a higher success rate. I never saw Farrah as a paparazzi seeker and think Ken’s an insensitive jerk. Also, privacy of medical records is your right regardless of your fame status.

I was not necessarily a previous fan, but I am now. The tenacity with which Farrah fights her cancer is inspiring. It is clear that her friends love her and she has the support of the love of her life – Ryan. I admire them immensly for sharing the most private of moments with the world. I was very moved by the documentary and my thoughts are with you.

Terribly painful to watch. Courageous of all involved to show the intimate details and dynamics of their family…especially the issues with Redmon. How very heartbreaking the obvious strained relationship between father and son. It made me sympathasize…we all have family issues and how brave to share this with the world. I cried very much when Redmon came in. I hate to say it, but I think she will not live but a few more days. This documentary was planned to air in a way that was to be close to her death. God bless her and her family and friends.

Farrahs Story was the hardest thing I have watch since my sister died of cancer 10/11/09. Farrahs story mimics my sister’s Barb fight minus the trip to Germany. Alls I can say is what an amazing Farrah is for sharing her story, her family anf friends with us. How dare anyone try to sue her for anything. She didn’t have to write or film this, she did this out of the kindness of her own heart, to help and inspire every cancer pt. Out in this world to cont the fight. Thank you so very much Farrah and her friends and family for sharing such a private part of your self. God bless and take care @}—— The Rose

I usually don’t comment on things like this but felt the need, Farrah, you were always my idol in the 70′s, please don’t leave us now. Fight as long as you can.
If you do leave us earlier than expected, welcome the light of the God.
I love you and never met you.

After watching “Farrah’s Story” tonight, I can only say what a beautiful person she is inside and out. To share this very personal journey she has taken down the horrible road of cancer with the world is such a brave thing for her to do. The writer of this article has lost his compassion for people in general, much less for another human in pain. This is a problem Farrah was plagued with as a celebrity, but to speak so unkindly of her when she is so sick is from the person with no heart! When did we forget the to try and put ourselves in another person’s shoes and try to see things from their point of view? I really hope you never have to go through cancer yourself or with a family member to finally feel some compassion for another’s pain. Farrah and Ryan, my heart goes out to you both and also to all her family and friends. I pray that a miracle will happen and we will all have more of the wonderful Farrah in our lives as an inspiration. God knows we need a lot of Love in this world.

Ken Tucker unless you have had this disease yourself, you have no idea how things can bring you down so I don’t believe you should have an opinion on how anyone should react to an issue like the paparazzi. Also you don’t know her son personally and God forbid that he would smile. You seem really insensitive and I strongly dislike your article.

Thank you to Farrah, Ryan and Alana for sharing your journey into the terror that is cancer. Perhaps this will be the wake up call to the medical community and the “powers that be” to exact real change in the way we deal with cancer and other medical conditions. You will all be in my prayers.
On the other hand, KEN – are you kidding?

  • Marci

Love always wins out in the end. Ryan stood by her side like most loving men would do. I am sad about Farrah, I never met her but she was definitely my idol in the 70′s. I am hoping for the positive outcome.
