Celebrity Apprentice…BACK….Chuck…in danger? How does that make sense!
http://tvdonewright.com/2009/04/29/nbc-rehires-the-celebrity-apprentice-for-next-season/
Please save Chuck. It is just in the wrong time slot. Put in on Thursday with the Office! I love this show. It is in my top 3 and I have a ridiculous amount of channels. I have not missed an episode. Please do not cancel it NBC. I am begging you.
First Neo and now Chuck “I know Kung Fu!” This episode was a classic. It has to come back. Come on NBC or CW or someone and save Chuck!
Chuck is the best show on TV. NBC better renew it, if they don’t they have got to be the dumbest network ever it has been getting so much press lately. Also the Nielsen rating system is so inaccurate. Its only a small sampling. How many people do you know with a Nielsen Box. I don’t know any one. Chuck has a lot more viewers then 6 million. Just look at all the buzz online and how crazy the message boards are when chuck is on.
Chuck is my absolute favorite show, and I loved the season finale. Cancelling it would be horrible. It has just the right balance of everything and it’s the one bright spot in NBC. It’s an absolute gem!
Chris, what an excellent idea!! Must see tv, back for Thursdays–’Chuck’, followed by ‘The Office’, and whatever else…..
I doubt very seriously if any fan led attempt will save Chuck from the dreaded cancellation squad. It’s a shame too since Chuck was one of the few programs with a plot left on television. I tuned in each week and enjoyed each laugh sent my way. Without Chuck and its follow-up show Heroes, I won’t be watching any NBC primetime programming.
I’ve watched every episode of this show and some of them more then once. I loved the entire episode. Ellie looked beautiful in both of her dresses. My favorite part was the last seen and the look on Sarah and Casey’s faces as Chuck took care of business and the last line was killer. Very Matrix. I will miss this show if NBC cancels it.
Networks need to understand that they have an obligation to their millions of viewers to support the programming on the air. Over six million people watched the finale of Chuck this week, and that is six million people who will be gravely disappointed if the show is canceled. After Jericho was canceled, I stopped to watching CBS (except for NCIS) because CBS proved that it didn’t care about quality TV or me as a viewer. Now, Chuck is facing cancelation and if that happens that will prove just how completely stupid everyone at NBC is and how unfaithful they are to their much needed viewership. I only watch Chuck on NBC, everything else is pure CRAP!!! ABC is worthless. Fox has Bones and Terminator. CBS has NCIS. That’s it. These are supposed to be the networks – the big wigs of TV and they are filled with cheap reality tv and lame doctor dramas. It’s a sad day when I can count more good TV shows on one cable network than all the major networks combined. Hey big wigs – be ashamed
Another amazing thing about recent Chuck guest-casting this season: Bruce Boxleitner (in addition to being the Scarecrow of Scarecrow and Mrs. King fame) stared in Chuck’s favorite movie, Tron! Chuck’s dad signaled him from Fulcrum’s secret underground base at the Drive-In, which is where the U.S. Government also had a secret HQ in the film Spies Like Us, which featured Chuck’s Big Bad Ted Roark of the season, Chevy Chase! Also, the new Buy More manager’s name is Emmett Milbarge, which is a combination of Chevy Chase’s character’s 1st name and Dan Aykroyd’s character’s last name from the same movie.
I agree I like Chuck as well as Jereico, Eureka and others. Thing is “Good TV” has nothing to do with rating; IT IS ALL ABOUT MONEY PERIOD. This is what decides what show stays and what show gets cancelled. What company wants to place their ad money where and when. If you want to save “Chuck” and other shows; get more sponsors to put ad money where these shows are. Hey we all know what ” Buy More ” really is Huh Huh Huh
Maybe get that company to be a show sponsor to get a plug spot. The people on the networks as mentioned DO NOT CARE ABOUT THE VIEWERS. They care about what the viewers buy from the ads placed on the shows. If the viewers buy the items advertised on that show it will attract more sponsor to put their ad money there and keep the show on the air. You don’t believe me? They explain that crap ECW on the SCI FI – Oh forgot SYFY jeez what are they smokin or drinkin or both in those board rooms??
I’m a huge fan of Chuck.
Can’t wait for season 3 of Chuck. NBC is crazy not to renew CHUCK. We need a season 3 after that cliffhanger.
