He’s my pick!! AMAZING voice… Susan has an annoying voice..
He’s certainly got talent and I’m sure he has a career for singing in his future. There are also many gospel style singers, but Susan Boyle has a unique style and quality that sets her apart that I find more refreshing. Susan is still my pick.
Now this is what we call singing. Such a young age with a very mature vocal styling and incredible range is a wonder to behold. Susan Boyles was amazing because of the initial low expectations, but if you get past that facade you realize her voice is heartfelt but nothing extraordinary, lacking range and not to rain on her parade really sounds amateurish. Her “My Heart Will Go On” on a CNN show was mediocre, to say the least. Her appeal was based on her humble appearance and lifestyle. This kid, however, has the makings of a musical star, with or without an interesting story surrounding him. If Britain’s Got Talent and the public truly got ears, there is no way that Boyles can be honestly accepted as better over this truly talented kid.

Shaheen is definitely talented. What an incredible voice! No doubt about it. And he’s as cute as a button!
As to comparing voices, it’s apples and oranges really. Shaheen has the belting R&B slick goin’ on for him while Susan’s voice has the bluesy ,classic, big-band, sans vocal gymnastics ( ala Mariah Carey ),clean, no frills kind of style ( especially her “cry me a river” rendition).
What Susan has goin’ for her that Shaheen doesn’t have is the punch-in- the-gut emotional story that has captured the world by storm. Shaheen was welcomed by the crowd with open arms and applause before he even sang a single note while Susan was mocked and laughed at before she unleashed her voice.
Actually I wouldn’t mind if Susan looses to this kid ‘coz he definitely deserves it. ‘Coz at this point, Susan could do anything she wants like what Piers Morgan said. Susan could give this year’s eventual American Idol winner a run for their money when it comes to album Sales. I’d bet my money on it!!!
Wow, he’s definitely got lots of talent, but Susan is still the front runner in my books.

Shaheen Jafargholi has a lot of potential, he’ll be great in a few years. Susan is already sublime, her songs move your soul. This young man is just somebody very good to listen to.
Talented kid, Susan Boyle is my choice, her singing stirs the soul and brings tears to my eyes every time.
Why don’t the idiots stop applauding and clapping so we can hear the kid sing? Let the performer perform!
He’s alright. Susan is better.
Is the American public itching to have this show in their channel line up? Not after what we have seen so far with America’s Got Talent. It’s a parade of oddities and freaks and a sprinkling of truly interesting ones, and the intrigue and interest soon wears off. This segment looks scripted in my opinion. Simon’s stopping of the song looks rehearsed, just to whet the appetite of the crowd. I do feel the same way about Ms. Boyle’s performance. The people who auditioned these talents created and played up this atmosphere so as to increase the tension and drama of their performance. And voila! you got the world talking about it and hence, more ka-ching! for its producer. Honestly, I’m never a fan of this shrewd, self-important businessman named Simon Cowell. As for talent, it’s a no-contest. The contest is about talent, not about feel-good stories. Susan Boyle is merely a good singer with an amazing story, but this kid is amazing, period.
Great voice, but Susan Boyle was able to sustain the song all the way through without missing a beat…Susan would get my vote if I were in the UK! Susan, you rock!
He is a good singer for his age, but I feel uneasy with child stars.
Susan is phenomenal, in my opinion. She sings with emotion and never fails to amaze me.
If you can remember back to August 2008 there was a girl, 12 years old that sang Ave Marie she also got high praise from every one but now she seem forgotten. Her name is Faryl Smith
Lucky they had the music for the second song all cued up and ready to go.
